Most training apps are a logbook. You write down what you did, and deciding what to do next is still your problem. LiftMax does that part for you. Log your sets, and it works out the weight, sets and reps for your next session from your own history — then adjusts as you go. For free! HOW IT DECIDES Every set you log updates an estimated one-rep max for that exercise. Prescriptions come off the trend across recent sessions rather than a single good day, so one heavy session doesn't send the next one somewhere you can't follow. It also learns how you rate effort. Reps-in-reserve judgement is a skill, and most lifters under-rate what they have left — which quietly drags every prescription too light. LiftMax measures your personal bias and corrects for it. Come back after time off and it backs the load off rather than picking up where you left it. BUILT FOR THE GYM, NOT THE SPREADSHEET • Weights land on loads you can actually build — prescriptions are rounded down to a sensible step for that equipment, never a number you can't make • Tell it when a lift has hit the top of the rack or the last pin, and it stops prescribing past what the equipment holds • Warm-up sets calculated before your first working set • Over 200 exercises, with your own additions alongside them • 18 routine templates — body parts, splits, or built around the equipment to hand • Per-exercise overrides when the standard progression doesn't suit a lift • Track personal bests and goals, and see where a lift sits against general strength standards • Log past workouts you did away from the app • Kilograms or pounds YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account. No sign-up. No ads. Everything you enter — your profile, workouts, routines and history — is stored in a database on your own device. There is no server holding your training history, because there is no server. Back up to your own iCloud if you want to, so a lost or replaced phone doesn't mean starting over. It goes to a private folder only LiftMax can see, in your iCloud — nothing is uploaded until you turn backup on, and you can encrypt the backup so nobody but you can read it. Erase everything from within the app whenever you want. Anonymous crash reports are sent to help fix bugs. They contain technical diagnostics only — never your training data. Details in the privacy policy. MADE FOR LIFTERS WHO WANT A REASON Every prescription is derived from your logged work. If you want to know why a number came out the way it did, the inputs are yoursand they are all on the screen.

LiftMax Pro is here: one payment, no subscription. It unlocks Programs (multi-week blocks, built by you or drafted from a few questions), MaxStats (your training read back over any date range), session insights and routine reviews. Also: Routines is now the Plan tab and Goals is Progress, tabs swipe, an exercise in a workout has its own tabs, recent notes show as you start, Adjust can set the weight, and any lift can be calibrated. Fixed: the keyboard no longer hides the field you type in.
