This is a fun and easy app to practice my Spanish. Seems to adapt well, but I would like to see a level selection test to help gauge where to start with their content.

I’m advanced Spanish but like to use apps from time to time to refresh my language. This one would be good for that except it only focused on Spanish from Spain specifically. I don’t need to learn colloquialisms in Spain since I will never go there. Slang from South America would be more helpful.Anyway, this app does the thing where it chooses a random category that may or may not be relevant to you. Why spend days learning how to talk about food if you don’t know how to greet someone?It seems to be aimed at beginners but it gives definitions of words in the target language (good for advanced learners) which will force beginners to use resources outside of the app, and ironically they’ll discover those methods are better than the app.

It was good for the first lesson, then it said wait 8 hours to do the next lesson. I thought, well that is annoying but hey a lesson every day wouldn’t be bad so who cares. 🤷🏻‍♂️ After waiting 8 hours I started the second lesson. I only got through vocab and the first grammar part before it wanted me to wait another 8 hours..... so in reality you can’t even do a lesson per day, just a few things in a lesson. Maybe if you paid for the full version it would be worth using. But as a free app, it’s way too restricting to even almost be useful. I won’t be using it again.

My favorite language app except that it doesn't appear to fit iPhone well. Many of the longer questions don't fit in the question box and there is no scrolling so I have to skip those questions, or guess and get them wrong. Looking forward to a fix for that!
