What's new in 1.9.0: • Add to Calendar opens your phone's own add-event screen with the event filled in, marked "Found on LIVEY" with a link back to the event. LIVEY never asks for or reads your calendar. • Promotions and follower messages stay off until you turn them on in Settings → Notifications, and you can pause them for a day, a week, or until you resume. • Venue and artist search keeps loading past the first page, and every venue, artist and event page shows its categories and tags. • Your profile shows each venue's and act's plan, the Founding business badge, and a Manage plan option on paid plans. Event pages now show the owner's pictures. • Each way you sign in has its own card, and a failed change explains what went wrong in one plain sentence. • A show without a listed time now says to check the venue for the exact time. • Fixes: the Account screen scrolls properly, a budget like 12.50 is read correctly, and a venue or act whose payment failed no longer shows "plan active".

What's new in 1.8.1: • Add your birthday and anniversary (just the month and day) and your budget when you sign up, and change or clear them any time from your Account screen. • The app's privacy declarations now include the optional phone number you can add to your account.

What's new in 1.8.0: • Sign in with Apple or Google, and connect either one to the account you already have under Account → Sign-in methods. • See every phone and computer signed in to your account, and sign any of them out, under Account → Active sign-ins. • Changing your password now checks the code we email you, and signs you out on your other devices. • LIVEY asks you once to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

LIVEY opens with a flourish. The pin on the splash spins up and glides home into the Near-me pill while the splash dissolves into your events. Tap to skip; Reduce Motion skips it for you. • The bottom nav is now a floating pane of glass — your events show through it, it slides out of the way as you scroll down, and you can drag along it to pick a tab. • Setup answers your taps: tiles spring and fill, the progress line fills as you go, and a small card counts how many events near you match your picks. • Type a city and state instead of a ZIP when you change your area. • Venues and artists on a paid plan now show their photo galleries — tap any picture to see it full screen. • Your profile lists the venues and artists you look after, and an account can hold more than one role at once. • Photos are never cut off any more — event, venue and artist pictures show whole on every card and cover. • Cards glow when you press them, the heart flips when you favorite, and the Get tickets button is a polished ring that follows your light or dark setting. Fixed: photos no longer flash when you scroll, and Eventbrite flyers show in full.

Everything LIVEY covers, and a search that finds it. • Choose from every kind of event LIVEY covers, not a short list — eighteen kinds of event and ninety-one styles within them, instead of the handful the app used to offer. • Styles are grouped under the kind of event they belong to — pick "Concerts & Music" and choose between jazz, indie, hip-hop and the rest. • "Your mix" shows the shape of your taste as you choose, so you can see which scenes you've gone deep on. • Filter events by tag — format, price, audience, setting, accessibility and vibe. • Search finds far more of what you meant — event search now matches tags, category, genre and name, and the venue and artist behind it. • Every event shows the most fitting picture LIVEY holds. • A venue's picture is no longer trimmed to fit — tall and square photos are shown whole. Also fixed: venue search, artist photos on the home shelves, artist genre labels, saved interests, and event/venue names that were showing as raw internal codes.

Hear the artist before you go. NEW — Artist pages now play 30-second previews of an artist's music. Tap a track and it plays right there on their page, so you can listen while you browse their upcoming shows. Tap the track counter to open the full list of previews, and open any track in Apple Music. FIXED — Artist photos now appear correctly on the "Performing" row of an event page. FIXED — Previews now work for artists who record alongside collaborators, which is how most dance and electronic acts are credited. Those artists previously showed no player at all, even when their music was available.

Events that are still happening now correctly appear in "Tonight" search results, even if they started earlier in the evening. Event listings now show the end time when it is known, so you can see how long an event runs.
