The app does create rain with several adjustments. But only over the open windows. I would prefer it only show rain over the background, not over windows. Also, it only works on one Space.This reminds me of the old Snow app, so it would be nice to have that option here also (if you do add snow, don't forget to let it pile up on top of open windows).Overall I'll probably never use it.

This is an excellent app for just setting a mood. It's not distrating and decently customizable.Some future suggestions:- Ambient sounds, would be great to have some sounds even if it's using the built-in background sounds in the OS.- Add some noise-based (perlin?) wind and intensity settings to increase/decrease the wind and create a little more movement and variation over time. Possibly allow setting an upper/lower bound for rain angle and amount.- Weather-based reading. If I set a location, get weather data and set rain and wind intensity based on the current weather readings.Overall a great little mood setter, paired with some nice dynamic wallpapers it really makes using the system more interesting and nice.

Reminds me of the old Windows days where customization was fun and quirky. Oh, nostalgia...The only things I'd like to see in an update are:-hide menu button-rain behind current window, not in front of it-remove the ghost window that appears in mission controlAlso, not quite sure why accessibility needed to be built in a different companion app 🤔

It's such a delicious and fun idea to simply bring aesthetic joy to your desktop. It'll add the extra fun to your working environment.
