Stop scrolling CloudWatch line by line. LogStitch is a native macOS app for AWS Lambda developers. It reads the request ID stamped on every CloudWatch log line and stitches them back into the invocation they belong to — so you can read a single Lambda execution as one coherent story instead of a timestamp-sorted river of interleaved streams. Built for AppKit speed. Local-first. No cloud component. Your logs never leave your Mac. WHY LOGSTITCH CloudWatch interleaves log lines from every concurrent execution into one stream. LogStitch groups them by request ID, surfaces cold starts and platform events, parses embedded JSON, and gives you the full invocation — duration, memory, billed cost, status — at a glance. Cached locally in SQLite, every log line you've ever fetched is one keystroke away. Forever. Offline. WHAT IT DOES • STITCH — Group every CloudWatch log line by request ID into a single, readable invocation. Cold-start flags, REPORT-line metrics, parsed JSON and platform events surface automatically. • CORRELATE — Follow a request across functions, accounts and regions in a swim-lane timeline. See propagation latency between hops and which function originated the error. • ANALYZE — p99 trends, cold-start scatter, memory right-sizing recommendations, working monthly cost projection. No separate dashboards, no PromQL. • DETECT — Error log lines with the same message template auto-cluster into patterns with lifecycles and impact scores. Statistical anomalies (≥2σ / ≥3σ) on duration, errors, cold starts and cost surface themselves before customers do. • LIVE TAIL — Real-time streaming on any function. Completed invocations save automatically to your local history. • MCP SERVER FOR CLAUDE — Built-in Model Context Protocol server lets Claude Desktop (and any MCP-aware AI tool) search your logs, drill into invocations, and run statistical analysis. Your AWS credentials never leave the Keychain. AWS PROFILES, DONE RIGHT Imports your existing ~/.aws/config and credentials. Supports Static Keys, SSO (OIDC device flow), and Assume Role chains. Credentials validated via STS before save. Color-coded workspace tabs and a ⌘⇧P profile switcher. Live session countdown with one-click refresh. THE BORING DETAILS, DONE RIGHT • SQLite FTS5 full-text search over every cached log line • Field-aware filters with auto-complete on discovered JSON keys • Pin JSON fields as columns in the invocation list • Background sync with per-function intervals and a daily CloudWatch API cost budget • Jira Cloud and GitHub issue-tracker integration with templated bodies and live status polling • JSON, CSV and plain-text export with field selection • Online-backup snapshots and 30-day backup reminders PRIVACY No LogStitch backend. No third-party analytics on log content. No telemetry that includes your data. The app talks to AWS, your local SQLite database, and any issue tracker you've explicitly connected — nothing else. Credentials live in the macOS Keychain. Logs live on your disk. You own both. REQUIREMENTS macOS 26.1 or later. Free 14-day trial — no card, no account, no telemetry.

Caught vs. uncaught errors — LogStitch now tells the difference between errors that crashed your function and errors it caught and logged. Your function list, Overview, and details views split the two apart, so a function that's "noisy but working" no longer looks like one that's down. What's new: • Errors are now split into uncaught failures and caught application errors, with the health dot keyed to what actually matters • New Error Class filter to narrow invocations to exactly the errors you're chasing • Throttled invocations now show as their own chip, separate from real errors • More reliable MCP connection that no longer stalls during long syncs • Fixes across Overview charts, log filtering, tooltips, and sidebar behavior
