Manic EMU - Game Emulator 4+

I give it 5 stars just off the strength that its the first ever 3DS Emulator I’ve come across and it’s reliable.. I’m a Life Time member and It’s not that big of a deal to me that none of the cheats work and some of the functions are not available, I’m only here for Pokemon even though the only one i can download let alone play is Pokemon Y.. Its mostly slow and laggy maybe due to me having an iPhone 11 Pro Max, its quite bothersome when trying to enjoy a game. With that being said I’ve noticed that there is a Fast Forward button that isn’t supported by the 3DS platform, maybe you guys can do something about it and make it useful.

Alright so someone’s probably gonna see the detail and ask “why isn’t it 5 stars”…2 reasons. I’ve tried all 3 modes and no matter what mode I choose when I play yo Kai watch or Pokemon x (the roms I currently have installed) it works for the main menu and mostly for cutscenes…BUT in yo Kai watch you exit the house there are 2 very noticeable problems. Both the game and audio start to lag. In Pokemon x the same issue occurs during the moment you try to exit the first area tho not as bad as yo Kai watch…with a few minor tweaks to preformance and audio fixing. This app would definitely earn a 5 star from me. Because the lag and audio issues being fixed would be fantastic…now the reason the title says better than the rest is because with folium and provenance aka A literal paid app and a free one. The lag for either or both audio and gameplay is in cutscenes as well. This app also has the slight issue of when In compatibility mode the audio is displaced. But preformance mode fixes that. And quality mode just straight up crashes the app when you try to load a game…so yes it is better then the rest. But it still has problems that need to be fixed

This is the closest to delta for 3Ds I have seen so far. It is very playable and runs fairly well as well as controller support is highly appreciated. The biggest problem I have run into so far is that after certain actions the game doesn’t necessarily freeze but I could not use any inputs and if I did not save recently my progress is lost which is quite annoying I don’t know if it is a format issue or an issue with the emulator but I would very much like to see this fixed, and a much smaller nitpick is that even though I am on a 14 pro I still have some performance issues like laggy inputs and stuttering but this is probably just growing pains until the emulator engine itself is optimized. Overall really good but would love the freezing issue to be fixed. If this is of any help the two formats I am having issues with are .cia and .3Ds keep up the update they are noticed and appreciated
