Markdown Preview provides a Quick Look extension to preview Markdown files in Finder. Before started, you will need to enable Quick Look extension in System Settings. Afterwards you can press spacebar or ⌘ + Y to quick look .md files in Finder. You can also switch between preview and the original Markdown content. Support formats: - Markdown. - Markdown with KaTex. - Markdown with Mermaid diagram. - Source code syntax highlighting. - TextBundle.

I like using this app in order to preview changes I make to my markdown files. It works easily and well, but would be better if the Reload button actually reloaded the file so I don’t have to keep going back to Finder to re-open it.

The app will reload on file changes. Please go to Mac App Store and update it.

It’s a good app, does the job and is clean. Nevertheless, doesn’t let you click URLs, nor does it integrate with Hookmark…. if this app wants to be a power app, it need to integrate with these top notch power productivity apps

Haven’t noticed any issues for basic previewing of markdown files and pleasantly surprised (not having seen it in the several screenshots) that there’s a dark theme
