MeasureKit allows you to measure different things in the world using your iPhone’s or iPad’s camera. This app is fun to mess around with, but has no real professional use. I used it to try and measure siding and gutters on a house, and not only did it take me over an hour to get photos that were close to right, The measurements were still off substantially. I imagine that, as technology increases, the accuracy will to. I read a review from over a year ago stating that having to center the camera with shaky hands is too hard. They still haven't addressed this issue. It would he more useable if the marker would place where your finger taps.I am using the app on an Iphone 11. This app is not worth the $2.99 and I regret making the purchase.

I tested the simple measuring ruler and it doesn't work at all. The first thing is that it's very difficult to use. You have to center the camera to where you want to measure and manually move the camera around to make the measurements. From a hand coordination perspective, this is not the most accurate way to measure, since if you have slightly shaky hands, the measurement will be drastically off. A better option could be to use the finger for setting both the start and end points of the measurement.

I don’t get the little white ring, it disappears and reappears and I don’t know when it is ready to measure. The measurement I did take was close but not accurate. All but one of the features you have to buy the app.
