It is the companion to the MedScrub desktop app. Your paired desktop sends charts, results and messages to your phone end-to-end encrypted. The relay in between only carries ciphertext. AT A GLANCE • A "Needs review" feed of critical labs, abnormal results and finished assistant runs from your desktop • One tap to open the chart, read the result or run an assistant PATIENT CHARTS • Search your panel by patient name • Snapshot: active problems with ICD codes, a vitals grid with trend arrows, abnormal labs under "What matters now", medications and visits from the past 12 months • Body: active problems placed on a body map that matches the patient's sex, age and build, with system layers • Timeline: visits, medications, labs and vitals, and care gaps, filterable, with counts • Critical findings show in a banner at the top of the chart AI ASSISTANTS • Run an assistant from your desktop catalog on the patient you're viewing • Follow the run until the result is delivered • Read the findings, decrypted on your phone • Before your first run, the app explains what data goes where, and nothing runs until you agree CARE-TEAM MESSAGING • Threads with people, roles and #channels, with urgent threads at the top • Link a patient to a thread and open their chart from it • Approve or deny assistant messages that your practice holds for review before they go to the care team • Block a sender, or report a message. A report includes only a reference to the message, never its text. HOW PHI IS PROTECTED • Patient data comes from your own paired desktop over an end-to-end encrypted relay. • Results and messages are encrypted to a key that this iPhone generates. The private key stays in this iPhone's Keychain and never syncs or moves to another device. • When you run an assistant from your phone, your MedScrub proxy de-identifies the patient's chart record before it is sent to the AI provider your practice has configured. • Sign-in goes through your medscrub.ai account in a secure in-app browser sheet. The app never sees your password. • Crash reporting runs with personal-data collection turned off, so your IP address and account details are not attached. MedScrub is built to support HIPAA-aligned workflows. Your organization is still responsible for its own HIPAA compliance, including any business associate agreements. WHAT YOU NEED • A medscrub.ai account • The MedScrub desktop app, open and signed in • Turn on "Connect to Desktop" from your profile menu to see live data. Without it, the app shows sample data. You can delete your medscrub.ai account from inside the app at any time. MedScrub is for licensed clinicians and their care teams. It does not diagnose or treat.
