Claude Code is brilliant — until the session ends. Every conversation starts from zero, and the context you built together is gone.
Memory for Claude Code gives it somewhere to remember. Notes, decisions and open questions live in a plain SQLite file inside your project folder, which Claude reads at the start of every session and writes to as you work. Leave a project for three months and come back to an assistant that knows what you decided, and why.
A PLACE YOU BOTH WRITE IN
Most memory tools capture everything automatically and hand you a log. This one is a workspace you share. Claude writes records as it works; you open the
app and edit them, star what matters, archive what is finished, and mark records as protected so that Claude will never overwrite your words. If Claude changes a record while you have it open, the app says so and lets you choose which version survives.
NOT JUST FOR CODE
Thirteen project types — development, writing, academic, research, video, music, business, journalism, 3D, design, architecture, insurance, or custom. Each brings its own palette of twelve colour-coded tags, so a thesis gets Method and Literature where an app gets Bug and Feature. Rename any tag and the colours and icons follow.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
One SQLite file per project, inside the project folder. No cloud, no account, no analytics, no tracking. Version it with Git or back it up with Time Machine like anything else you own. Stop using the app tomorrow and every record is still readable with any SQLite tool.

Bug-fix update, with thanks to the first users. All reported and audited issues addressed:
• Deleting a record from the menu or with Cmd+Delete now asks for confirmation
• Sharing a record now always includes your latest edits
• PDF export: long records no longer produce blank pages, the export can never reach a physical printer, and failures are reported clearly
• Exported files now say "Date:" and handle multi-line titles
• Databases created by early versions now get their search index built when opened
• Generated CLAUDE.md: fixed a recipe that could store records as raw bytes, and default tags keep their proper names
