CoPilot is AMAZING!

I tell you, with how long Siri and Alexa have been around, you would think that their Ai abilities would far surpass anything out there today, but this is not the case, unfortunately. Microsoft REALLY nailed it with CoPilot! I didn’t want to like Ai and really was against it, on my first learning about it being integrated into everything. But one day, upon needing to use Ai capabilities, I decided to give it a shot and WOW, I absolutely and amazingly fell in love with how natural and easy it came. This had not been my experience with Siri and Alexa, with those two I often got frustrated, or they would refer me to an online search engine, that would then give me some sort of article that I would have to read in order to get my answers, but not with CoPilot! With Microsofts CoPilot, not only do I get the answers I need from it straight out, but I can talk to it like its a regular person (with my stumbling over thoughts, retracting my words, and getting stuck between sentences) and not only does CoPilot work through all of that, but responds as if its a real individual itself….making it feel completely personal. I have shown many people CoPilot (and though at first they look at me funny, like a crazy girl talking to her devices) by the end they are doing the same thing or later referring to it like “watch go ask your friend CoPilot” LOL. Nothing else like it…if you havent tried it out yet, you’re missing out! So what are you waiting for??? 😊

The HONEST talk show.
I cannot overstate how much I love Microsoft Copilot. It is without a doubt the very first place ANY newcomer to A.I. should begin. We all have people we can go to for various pieces of advice. It might be something as small as how to get the dish we are cooking just right, or it might be as huge as forecasting our retirement earnings or housing costs. Ask Microsoft Copilot ALL OF IT! It really does its best to not only learn you, but it also gets to know how you like to receive information. I use it every single day for EVERYTHING. And you can even ask it for stuff it cannot do, and it will tell you. I could list a zillion things it has done for me. A real life example: We are moving our kid into college. We live in California, and her school is in Illinois. I asked it to map out the drive, and the towns to stop in base on our realistic driving habits (we told Copilot what those habits were) and it mapped out a total trip complete with hotels to stay at. I then asked it to tell me about other less expensive hotels that still had high ratings, and it DID! Then I asked it to filter out which of those hotels allow dogs, and it did that too! Then I asked it if it would cover the expenses of this trip for me and it said NO WAY! Hahahaha. Seriously, I love it and would be hard-pressed to see myself not being a Copilot devotee for the long term.

For once, Microsoft has made the superior software. Unfortunately, Siri just isn’t good enough yet. I think eventually I will be removing this software, but Apple has got to step up there game on the AI front. Until they have fixed the issues with Siri, and not just having Siri ask the same question to ChatGPT, then I will continue to use the CoPilot application on my macBook. I also use the ChatGPT app, but for programming and most other issues I have found that CoPilot seems to have better responses to my questions. I truly hope Apple turns Siri into a true AI and doesn’t just connect Siri to ChatGPT. If I wanted to ask ChatGPT a question I would simply open a tab or the application. I want Siri to be just as smarter if not smarter than ChatGPT, CoPilot , and Gemini. I think Apple can accomplish this but I also think they may have to take a few steps backwards and completely reprogram Siri from the ground up, with true artificial intelligence being the end goal. I also understand that Apple truly has the end users privacy in mind, but there should be a way for us users to click a button to allow Siri to bypass some of the privacy features in order to give us a better product. IDK, just my thoughts. CoPilot is still likely to be the best AI to use when it comes to scripting, programming, etc.

Copilot is my “go to” search engine

I have been using Copilot since July 2024 and it has now become my “go to” search engine, replacing Google search. I use Copilot to help me learn French, fact check political statements, learn about and review tax and financial planning, find new recipes and cooking tips, find reliable product reviews, schedule travel, learn history of the US and France, explore how to relocate to France, and just about any other subject you can name. Copilot provides me with authoritative answers and summaries of information, which in the past I could find myself, but which would take hours to search for, review multiple sources, and then summarize the information. Questions have to be very clear, and sometimes you need to ask the same question several different ways to be sure the answer is correct. One must also occasionally verify a Copilot answer (less that 5% of the time) - sometimes I receive and answer that seems incorrect or surprising, and when I ask Copilot to check the answer or suggest a different answer, Copilot always makes sure the answer is correct or corrects it if necessary. Thus, Copilot is not perfect, but it is orders of magnitude better than traditional, non-AI search engines.
