MIDIPatch 4+

I get that the funtionality provided by this app might be in the niche category, but it solved my problem beautifully. As stated in the descritpion, it allows me to play external MIDI modules from my controller without having to patch through a DAW. I also use it send MIDI from my controller through network MIDI to act as MIDI-in for another Mac. This allows me to edit patches/setups on my laptop while keeping my controller hooked to my desktop. Thank you to the developer! I hope you keep updating this app beyone Big Sur - I will definitely keep using it!

The negative reviewer doesn't understand this app's function.

I needed to connect two MIDI devices (Casio Keyboard Controller and Roland Sampler) without having to launch my DAW to route MIDI and connect them. This app connect the Casio MIDI OUT port to the MIDI IN port of my Sampler. Perfect. Does exactly what it says.

t's not meant to change settings in OSX. You do that through the Audio Midi Setup app in OSX. This app simply and effectively connects and routes two already setup/configured devices together without the need for a full blown launching of your DAW.

Thank you to the developers for making this simple and effective app! I'm running this on the latest version of Big Sur. Perfect!

Works as expected - instead of purchasing a midi hub, and instead of purchasing a pricier DAW, I was able to connect my weighted keyboard to my synth through my laptop using midiPatch.

The only point of confusion was which midi source should be "MIDI Out" and which should be "MIDI In". I mixed it up once and had to "reverse the polarity", as they say.
