more I loved Mini Metro and have been looking forward to Mini Motorways for a long time. For the most part it's a similar game in terms of look and feel. It's a lot of fun and is challenging enough that I still haven't gotten bored with it and don't see that happening anytime soon.There are still a few kinks to work out though. The traffic lights seem to make things worse, not better, which seems to be a common complaint. There isn't clear logic on how cars will attempt to get to shops, though it might just be that I'm not understanding it - in Mini Metro this was very clear to see, but less so when you're dealing with a network of roads. Finally, I'd love for the controls on mobile to be closer to what they are on desktop. The zooming in and out on mobile makes things a bit difficult, where on Mac it feels like it just works.Overall a really solid game though. Based on the work they did with Mini Metro, I have no doubts that the developers will address all of these issues in upcoming versions. Really looking forward to what the future of this game holds as it is honestly a ton of fun.

The combination of minimal graphics and slow-paced gameplay make this a perfect game to relax and unwind with. The developers have done a great job of capturing real-world cities with minimalist designs. I appreciate the regular updates with new cities. Once you get the hang of regular gameplay, all the locations have their own unique challenge modes, such as unlimited roundabouts but half the amount of road tiles or using extra road tiles to make diagonals, encouraging you to make a grid-shaped city to maximize your score. My favorite are the random daily and weekly challenges. Would be fun to make a streak system to see how many days in a row you complete the limited time challenges! Only thing I would suggest is giving more sound customization because it’s just a bunch of cluttered background noise. I’ve ended up muting all sounds and just playing my own music. One other suggestion is to add the achievements from steam because there are only half the amount on this version of the game. Otherwise, keep up the great work!

Head over to Hong Kong in our Harbor Lights & Neon Nights Update! On this journey around the world, Mini Motorways is pulling into the fragrant harbor of Hong Kong, an iconic port city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and colorful, neon streets.
From the harbor glow to the electric lotus sky, Hong Kong offers a gorgeous new landscape for you to design your dream city. But this gorgeous city isn’t without its obstacles! Surrounded by water dotted with the famous Star Ferry, you’ll have to navigate the never-ending flow of Hong Kong’s 7.5 million residents as they go about their daily lives.
Don’t miss out on exploring this new city with our recently released Creative Mode! With ultimate creativity unlocked, this mode allows you to explore Hong Kong just the way you like it.

• Ferry terminals! Hong Kong introduces boats to the waterways of the Fragrant Harbour. Operating in a similar way to train stations and trains, it’s your job to ensure these new floating obstacles don’t interrupt your traffic! Ferry terminals are new building types that will require careful planning and attention as you navigate ways across the water for your commuters.

Nestled amongst the rugged Canadian coast of British Columbia, this coastal metropolis is home to narrow waterways, rugged mountains and lush parks. It’s up to you how you manage the city’s unique geography to keep the traffic along these Maple Motorways.

Aurora Borealis Update
This winter, it’s time to snuggle up with a cup of tea as we take a wintry trip to Iceland in the Aurora Borealis Update! Explore Reykjavík, the northernmost capital in the world, with fantasy-like hues inspired by the northern lights. Iceland’s largest city is home to narrow peninsulas and a cove-dotted coastline, and it’s up to you to keep the city moving!
This update to Mini Motorways includes:
• This patch includes a bug fix for an issue that causes users on macOS 14.2 to lose game functionality in windowed mode. The game will launch in fullscreen mode so that it remains playable as usual. We’re working on a fix to make sure windowed mode is back as soon as possible.
• A brand new map! Traverse the narrow peninsulas and rugged coves of our new map, Reykjavík.
• New Achievements, Daily Challenges, Weekly Challenges, and City Challenges.
• Additional checks for iCloud functionality to ensure save progress is synced.
• Various minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

Recent Patch + The Miniversary Update
The latest patch to Mini Motorways addresses recent bugs, including:
• Save game issues with the Busan map challenge titled ‘All Gas No Brakes’. With this fix, you should be able to resume your saved game.
• Visual pink errors and freezing on maps while playing Expert Mode on iOS 17.

It's our Miniversary, and to celebrate ten years of Mini Metro, the game that started it all for Dinosaur Polo Club, we’re releasing one of our biggest updates ever, with a pack of new maps to enjoy, each of which features our newest building type! This update includes:
• Three brand-new maps! Three of Mini Metro’s most popular cities are now available in Mini Motorways, including the winner of our player vote, New York City. Recreate London’s iconic roundabouts or attempt to recreate Mumbai’s famous expressways.
• Train stations! These cities are home to bustling railway networks already, and it’s your job to ensure their trains don’t interrupt your traffic! Train stations are new building types that will require careful planning and attention as you draw your roads around unique existing railroads to keep up with the demands of these new challenges.
• Each of these maps also includes all-new challenges and achievements.
• This update also features various improvements and bug fixes.

The Tabletop Traffic Update
Cruise down south to Cape Town in our latest update, highlighting this mountain-hemmed African coastline!
From the rugged peaks of Lion’s Head and Table Mountain to the southern Atlantic, Cape Town is a city where nature is never anything short of panoramic. Take control of traffic in South Africa’s second-largest city, guiding commuters through tunnels and over bridges to their destinations.
We’re kicking off a big year of Mini Motorways updates with a fun one! As the first of four maps on our 2026 update roadmap, Cape Town will pose an interesting challenge for puzzle-minded players and offers coastal aesthetic opportunities for those who prefer to explore in Creative or Endless Mode.
This update includes:
• A brand new map: Cape Town!
• New Daily and Weekly Challenges
• General bug fixes and polish
• Opt-in anonymized analytics collection has been added to the game. These analytics are used by Dinosaur Polo Club to improve Mini Motorways and our future games. Data collection for gameplay analytics is off by default and player consent can be changed at any time through the in-game settings.
