Modascan
Scan fashion, compare prices
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Photograph a bag, a shoe or a watch. ModaScan names the house and, when shop listings confirm it, the exact model, then shows you where it is sold.
ModaScan tells you what a fashion piece is, from a photo.
A bag on a stranger, shoes in a window, a watch across the table: photograph it the moment you see it. ModaScan names the house and, when it can, the exact model, then shows you where it is sold.
EXACT MODEL, CHECKED
• ModaScan compares your photo with the photos in real shop listings.
• It says Exact model only when at least two listings show the very same piece, and gives the style code when there is one.
• When it knows the house but not yet the model, it says so. A photo of the label or the name inside usually settles it.
WHERE TO BUY
• The shops that carry the piece, in order of relevance, with the price each one shows.
• The house's own site when no shop carries it.
YOUR PIECES
• Save pieces to your Wishlist. Sign in and it follows you to your other devices.
• History keeps your recent scans, sorted into Bags, Footwear, Clothing, Watches, Accessories and Beauty. No account needed.
MADE TO BE USED
• Scan with the camera, a photo from your library, or a short video.
• Day and Night themes, on iPhone and iPad.
• In English, German, French and Italian.
• Sign in with Apple or Google, or scan as a guest.
• Delete your account and its data at any time, from Profile.
ModaScan is free, with up to 10 scans a month.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
ModaScan 2.0 is redesigned from the first screen to the last, with a new icon.
Exact model
ModaScan now compares your photo with the photos in real shop listings. It says Exact model only when at least two listings show the very same piece, and it gives the style code when there is one. When it knows the house but not yet the model, it tells you so instead of guessing.
Where to buy
The shops that carry the piece, in order of relevance rather than lowest price, and the house's own site when no shop does.
A new look
A full-screen camera, a new scan screen and new results. History, Wishlist and Profile are redesigned, there is a Night theme, and ModaScan now fills the iPad screen.
