They stay up to date without opening the app. Add the place to an appointment Events now take a location. Type it the way you'd say it — "Swimming", "At grandma's", or a full address — and tap it to open your maps app with directions. Clocks and dates that match your phone MomPlan now follows your device for the 12- or 24-hour clock, the date order, and which day the week starts on, instead of guessing from your language.

Everything the family needs to say, in one place The new Family Hub gives your household a chat of its own and a board of sticky notes for the things that shouldn't get lost. Send a one-tap "I'm leaving now" or "dinner's ready", ask a question with a poll, leave a voice note, or stick a photo on the board. Know what the month costs before you spend it The new budget plans forward instead of bookkeeping backwards. Set what you expect to come in and go out, add targets for the categories you want to watch, and see what is actually left. Week menus, priced Pick a supermarket and MomPlan builds complete week menus from what is genuinely on offer there — each one priced, with the shopping list already filled in. Swap any meal you don't fancy and the price follows. The whole family's day, side by side The new day view gives every person their own column, drawn to scale, so you can see at a glance who is where and where the gaps are. Your recipes, in pictures The recipe library is now a wall of dish photos — you pick dinner by looking at it, not by reading a list. Your meal planner and the week wizard show every planned meal as its own picture too. Cooking for more tonight? Open any recipe and tap + on the portions. Every ingredient amount updates as you go, and nothing is saved — it's just for tonight. Plan a whole week of meals at once The new meal planning wizard asks a few questions — which days, how many people, what you feel like — and fills the week in for you. The grocery list is built at the same time, and it can plan around what is on offer at your supermarket that week. Chores, organised by room Set up the rooms in your home and give each one its own tasks. Choose from ready-made sets per room or add your own, and point any new chore at the room it belongs to. Recipes that match your household Portions now follow the number of people you actually cook for. Change your household size and every recipe, grocery list and suggestion scales with it. A calendar that keeps up Moving between months in Schedule is far quicker and smoother. The month responds the instant you tap, and busy months no longer stutter on the way back. Also: you can see at a glance when the app is refreshing, whoever you assign something to is told about it, and there are a good number of smaller fixes throughout.

Everything that loads now has artwork of its own. Custom illustrated loading animations replace the default spinners across meals, groceries, planning and family screens. Empty screens are custom too. Favorites, recipes, contacts, budget, discounts and more each have their own illustration instead of a stock icon. The Today card has been redesigned: your progress ring earns a medal when the day is done, with its own streak and calendar icons. Also fixed: extra line spacing in the Poppins font, and the progress ring flickering when you switch between days.

Your calendar, redesigned The month view now shows at a glance who each event belongs to, with a coloured chip for every family member. Busy weeks are readable again without opening a single day. Missed a recurring task? It comes back Recurring tasks you didn't get to no longer just disappear. They return to Today for a couple of days so you can still tick them off — and they stay out of your streak, so a busy week never feels like a punishment. The app opens in your language On a new phone MomPlan now starts in the language your device is set to, instead of English. All 14 languages got a translation pass as well. A tidier shopping list Amounts and store offers used to break mid-word across lines. They now sit neatly under each item, so your list stays easy to read while you're standing in the shop. Also: yearly and monthly plans side by side, and a handful of small fixes throughout.

Favourite shopping lists Save the lists you buy every week and add them back to your groceries in one tap. Name them, edit them, and they're always there when you need them. Move a meal to another day Plans changed? Open a planned meal and move it to another day or slot — no more deleting and adding it again. Grandma is smarter about simple food Ask for something simple like a cheese sandwich and you get a short, sensible recipe instead of a full dinner. New recipes also land in the right slot on their own — breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. Mom AI looks it up Mom AI now searches the web before telling you something isn't available, so you get a real answer more often. Also: multi-day events from your phone's calendar, like holidays and trips, now show on every day for everyone in your household.

Scan a physical card or import a screenshot of a digital one, and show it at checkout - your screen brightens automatically so the cashier can scan it in a flash. Cards are shared with everyone in your household. Smoother recipe imports Sharing a recipe from TikTok or Instagram now feels effortless. Grandma gets to work the moment you share, with a cleaner, more polished import screen and no fuss. Faster recipe saving Recipes now save instantly so you can keep going.
