What's new in 2.3.1 • More reliable photo sharing: the full-screen viewer now hands the original file to the share sheet, in the right format (HEIC, PNG, JPEG …). Shared photos now arrive safely in MyOfficePilot as well. • Mac: videos now play in the photo viewer. Play and pause are in the action wheel, and ← and → flip through your photos. • The Pilot apps now sit in a fixed icon row in the sidebar, always visible on iPad and Mac. New: MyStudyPilot. • Open MyOfficePilot in the App Store straight from “What's New”. • Documents in MyFamilyPilot show the correct app icon again. • Further bug fixes and improvements.

New in version 2.3 • The function wheel: the round button at the top right shows every action for the screen – a long press on a document, photo or file shows the actions for exactly that item. • Photo Filing (Premium): photos and videos from your library are filed by year and month on your NAS (SMB/WebDAV), NextCloud or iCloud Drive. Wi-Fi only by default, and optionally in the background overnight while your iPhone charges. • Safe moving: a photo is only deleted once it is verifiably at the destination – always with confirmation, never favorites. • Never filed twice: filed photos show a check mark in your library. • Find duplicates and similar photos – in your library and in “My Photos”. • File browser that works like an explorer: multi-select, copy and move folders between storage locations, trash with a 30-day grace period. • View photos small, medium, large or as a list. • Illustrated tutorials under “Help”. • MyOfficePilot is here: scan in MyScanPilot, organize in files – both apps work hand in hand. • Also: faster text recognition and lists, more reliable iCloud sync, dependable sharing of many photos (e.g. to WhatsApp), photos keep their original format (HEIC) when filed.

• Searchable PDFs with integrated OCR text recognition • Automatically use destination folders as labels • Customize background colors and transparency • Easier navigation through cloud and network folders • Improved inbox, synchronization, and scanner support • Numerous performance and stability improvements We’re also preparing the growing Pilot Suite with MyOfficePilot and MyFamilyPilot. The new apps and shared features will follow in future versions.
