NextViewer enables an interactive visualization of 3D objects in space. The application offers features to move, rotate, and scale the models. Additionally, it provides 3D drawing function for adding spatial annotations. This creates a spatial understanding of objects that might otherwise be difficult to access. Furthermore the latest feature of the application is a navigation which shows detailed medical images of your anatomy.
Cause exploring together is even more fun, the apps offers SharePlay to share 2D and 3D content with others. That's very useful especially for educational purposes.
One possible application is the visualization of anatomical models for educational purposes. The anatomy of a head is included in the app as an example. However, NextViewer is not classified as a medical device.
All models to be loaded must be available in the file system in .usdz format. 3D models can be converted from .obj to .usdz via the Reality Converter app.
