very cool and unique concept!

i got this game probably around a year ago for the first time when the layout was different. i liked the fact that it was like a mix between a personality app and a roleplaying game! i like the updates they’ve made to the game a lot, like how you used to only have a few responses to pick from to respond to characters when playing stories, and now it uses AI so you can respond however you would actually respond, and have a more realistic interaction which is really cool. i love how they incorporated that into dr reid too!! my only complaint with the new version is the need for energy to play the stories; i understand this might be because it still has a lot of features that the devs are working on, so they may not want people running through most of the stories they have created in the course of a day. but i did like it a lot better when you could go from story to story as you wanted, so if you wanted to play for awhile and do 10 in one sitting you could, or if you did just 2, that was fine too. i hope that part changes back in the future, but this far i love the new changes! this is a cool game concept and i like what the devs have going here.

I used to play Episode like every day, and I feel like this game is bringing back that feeling for me. It’s so cute and all the stories are well thought out with personal results at the end of each. It is sad that you can’t replay them if you get a bad ending, but I understand since it’s supposed to be for finding out your personality. I love playing this game and hope new stories come out soon!Review for new update:I love the storytelling and plot aspect of it now, it’s so cool that the characters can remember what happened from previous stories and that you provide free responses instead of multiple choice answers! I didn’t get the goals feature at first, but now I think I’m getting the hang of it. Every character has a different personality and backstory that affects the situations you’re in. Also, there’s a character named Dr. Reid that analyzes your choices and talks through them with you, giving some insight on them. There are a few bugs, but that is to be expected with such a small development team. I can’t wait to see where this game goes!

This app has played a huge role in my mental health journey.The purpose of the app is to give insights and help you discover who you are, and as someone dealing with depression and a very low self esteem, this app did just that. It helped me find my positive and negative traits: the negative ones I knew well of, but the positive ones I didn’t realize were a part of me.Though the app stories have a specific pathing and a “correct” answer, they record what choices you WANTED to make, which gives more insight in your character rather than placing you in a box of “right” and “wrong,” as some people would like to paint.After every couple of stories are played, you are brought to a conversation about why you made the choices you did, and it gives possible reasons, but ultimately allows you to record your own. And after enough stories are played, you are given an overall account of who you are.This detail of the app is very developed, though I’m still not entirely sure how it works. I imagine I am speaking to a sort of AI that takes my information into account and compiles reasons and possible personality traits, to find why I’d make those specific choices. Of course, as the app is still in earlier stages, there are bugs to be encountered. But there is a very responsive Discord community that pays attention and listens! I have a great time with this app and I love learning more about myself. Thank you to the developers!

I really like the style of the art and the aesthetics of the game. The feedback is something I wish we had in real life…I don’t like the waiting time and wish it was shorter or the interactions caused less energy so you could do more of them during the day but I also understand having a waiting time so people don’t rush through them game and can fully enjoy it. It would probably be nice to have something to do in between while waiting maybe a mini game where you tutor someone or something along those lines.It definitely still needs more content added but I love everything that I have experienced in this game till now. I think the game is definitely worth trying!
