Build a modular synth on your iPad. Explore factory patches, play with MIDI, save your own racks, and use the native AUv3 instrument in compatible music apps. NOODLERACK puts a patchable modular synthesizer on your iPad. Start with a factory patch or an empty rack, add modules, connect cables, and explore the sounds you create. BUILD AND PLAY Browse modules by category, drag them into your rack, and connect audio, pitch, modulation and gates. Explore oscillators, filters, envelopes, sequencers, random sources, effects and seven Mutable Instruments-inspired engines. Pinch to zoom, pan around your patch, or use Fit to see the rack. Undo and redo make it easier to experiment. STANDALONE RACK Play from the touch keyboard or a compatible USB MIDI controller. Save your patches locally, export and import patch files using Files, and record WAV audio. Explore factory patches and the built-in field manual without an account or internet connection. NATIVE AUv3 INSTRUMENT Load NOODLERACK in a compatible AUv3 host such as GarageBand. Build a rack with 31 native module types, receive MIDI from the host, and map controls to 16 automation macros. Each instance has its own rack, and its state is saved with the host project. The AUv3 instrument has a separate native module set and patch format. SAMPLER and WAV recording are standalone features; standalone patch files cannot be imported into the AUv3 instrument. Save AUv3 racks by saving your host project. LOCAL AND OFFLINE No account is required. Patches, recordings and imported samples stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Optional microphone access is used for sampling, and optional camera access is used by the LIGHT module in the standalone app. Both process locally. An iPad is required. USB MIDI requires a compatible controller and adapter or hub. AUv3 requires a compatible host app, sold separately where applicable.
