Notchalant is a camera-first teleprompter for Mac and iPhone. On Mac, your script unfolds from the notch. On iPhone, it lives in the Island, close to the lens. Keep your words where your eyes already need to be, record clean takes, and stay present on camera. Write or import scripts, use short line breaks and pause markers, tune prompt width, font size, line count, and pace, then start recording when you are ready. Finished iPhone recordings can be saved to your Camera Roll. Voice Sync can follow your speaking pace when available, with speech recognition running on device where supported. No account is required, and your scripts and recordings stay on your devices unless you choose to export or save them. A calmer, more consistent reading experience. Your chosen text size now stays the same as short lines move smoothly through the prompt. Adjust Lens alignment in Camera settings to position the text closer to your front camera. Portrait recording and mirroring now use consistent settings for preview and saved video. Camera startup and the controls on smaller iPhones have also been improved. Your scripts, settings, and existing recordings are preserved.
