I like it being able to skip songs or pause them no matter what a page I am on. I haven’t utilized the file integration that much. Some things that are a little bit laggy is when you skip music it sometimes does not change the cover for the song, I know this is nitpicking. The other thing is if I play songs on random it does not let me go back one song for some reason like the history function that apple songs has. I don’t know if that is something that apple won’t allow or if it is something that can be integrated in the future. Overall awesome product!

NotchBox is a very useful and tangible widget for the notch island at the top of the MacBook screen. Honestly, it’s pretty cool to skip my songs using my clicker without needing to open my application and press the skip button on my keyboard. For files, this application is very reliable and saves so much time and extra clicks. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it to use its features but once you find yourself using the features, it’s amazing. I use NotchBox without paying the pop-up thing and honestly it’s not annoying at all. I understand the need that some people would pay to remove the pop-up but overall, it doesn’t bother me at all. At the end of the day it comes to preference and usefulness. NotchBox is an amazing widget to add to your MacBook, regardless of what you are using it for.

This app is really well made. There are SOOOO many features so that everyone can use it the way they want to! The price feels justified as well. I personally would like if there was a way to choose a smaller view for when the notch is open (so it takes up less screen space), and having an option to not show which song is playing with the waveform when closed (just in case it gets a little distracting when working). There are just my personal requests - overall the app is great! Love it :)
