NotiSounds gives you a dedicated notification volume control in your menu bar. One click silences the pings while your music, calls, and audio keep playing exactly as they should.
Turn it down before a presentation. Set it to 30% at your desk. Toggle it off during a call and back on when you're done. You decide without touching your speaker volume or opening System Settings for each app independently.
