It’s really fun to mess around with and as a writer it really forces me to understand my character and the way the react to different situations online, which in a modern fantasy world with plenty of instances of online use and social media, is very helpful for me!There was one issue I need to bring up though. The time between exiting the app and it kicking you to the menu is quite short if your switching between apps. I was doing this to grab references for creating a character and I was kicked to the menu. The thing is, if you’re creating a character and get kicked to the menu, it will just enter a loop of infinitely loading but never actually opening, so you have to delete the app and redownload it and sign in again for it to work properly Nothing that hurt my experience with the app too much, I’ve had to do this for other programs before, but just an issue I want to bring to others so they don’t make the same mistake as I did lol and bring it to the developers attention, cuz app development is difficult and you can never really catch everything If you read to here, thank you for taking the time to consider what I have to say and have a wonderful day!

While I love this app, the tight regulations to allow kids makes it impossible to feel secure when roleplaying. I cannot have my characters have deep conversations or playful banter without risking getting banned because the regulations on this app are even tighter than regular social media, not to mention, you have a content warning tag for potentially disturbing content and yet at the same time you explicitly state in your community guidelines that most content that would require that tag is NOT ALLOWED AT ALL. I would gladly make my pages private or even 18+ only, but you haven’t implemented that function. It’s fun, but after discovering the poor design and the over-sensitive restrictions because of that poor design, I am tempted to just make regular social media accounts for them instead as at least then there would be some form of actual restrictions on interaction and realistic community guidelines. The entire premise of this app is that the content within it is fictional. When you start treating it as if it is more real than real people’s social media, it no longer is fun. It is no different than an interactive story, and yet this app treats it like it is real life. None of us are on there to be ourselves, we are there to be fictional characters and say fictional things.

I love this app it is wonderful for character building and meeting great people. I love that whenever you comment on something it gives you a personality description (they have made me laugh a few times).Why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there are a lot of things that need fixing or changing. First of all not being able to delete your own comment and only being able to edit it once makes no sense to me. Also there are no guidelines or limits to how far someone can go on a character and there have been some pretty traumatizing things I’ve seen. Especially since kids use this app there is no kind of restriction besides a content warning blur. Also, the intended audience is for everyone but there should be a way to tell minors from adults, no one wants to accidentally catch a case when roleplaying or chatting because the minor is playing an older character or vise versa. Which takes me to my next point. There needs to be direct messages/private messages. Wanting to role-play with people and having to use the comment section just doesn’t seem efficient.Thank you for reading this. This is a wonderful app but some work needs to be done.

I adore this app and the concept behind it, but it definitely needs some work. The tagging system is very rough. Half the time when you search a tag it will tell you there’s nothing in it (even if the preview says there’s over a thousand posts in it!), and then when the tags DO show up they’re in a random, non-chronological order and often only span about ten posts at most before the app decides to withhold them again. The like button also doesn’t work every time, and the inability to see who left likes on posts/comments when the app already has perfectly working non-toggleable profile view notifications(which I find far more personally invasive) is disappointing.Less pressing of an issue is the lack of an ability to separate in vs out of character information. It’d be nice to have separate places for your vs your character’s bio, people you want to follow vs people you want your character to follow, tags you add to posts for people in the same fandoms to find it vs what the character would actually tag that post with, etc.
