OffGrid Messenger sends messages device-to-device over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi — no cell signal, no
WiFi network, and no internet connection required. Once two devices have paired, messages go
straight between them.

Airlines can't always seat families next to each other, and phones have to go in airplane mode.
The FAA allows Bluetooth and WiFi to stay on above 10,000 ft — OffGrid Messenger uses exactly
that to let your family message row to row, gate to gate, without needing the plane's WiFi or a
signal of any kind. Set it up on everyone's device before you leave; it works from the moment
you're all in range, with zero setup required at the other end.
It's just as useful anywhere else a signal doesn't reach: campsites, cruise ships, basements,
subways, festivals, or any place your group is close by but disconnected.

already know how to play. No accounts and no internet needed, just like the rest of the app. A
simple way to pass the time with family and friends when you're sitting nearby but disconnected —
on a long flight, at a campsite, or anywhere else a signal can't reach.
HOW IT WORKS
OffGrid Messenger uses your device's Bluetooth and local WiFi radios to find and talk to other
nearby devices running the app — the same technology behind AirDrop, without needing an internet
connection on either end. Range depends on the environment, typically similar to Bluetooth/WiFi
range (tens of meters, less through walls or in a crowded cabin).

Try OffGrid Messenger free for 72 hours. After that, a single one-time purchase unlocks
unlimited messaging for good — no subscription, no recurring charge. You can always receive and
read incoming messages; the purchase unlocks sending once your trial ends.

OffGrid Messenger does not require, and cannot use, a cellular or WiFi internet connection to
deliver messages between paired devices.
