OmaReads started with one goal: help kids ages 3 to 8 fall in love with reading and writing — the single skill that opens every door after it. It is built by Ms. Oma, who has spent 21 years in early childhood education as a school owner and director, and who wrote SEL books whose stories teach literacy and emotional intelligence together.
FIRST WORDS STUDIO
All 26 letter sounds in Ms. Oma's voice. Trace each letter with a finger, then blend those sounds into real two-letter words — at, an, in, up. It follows a proper scope and sequence, the way reading is actually taught.
DECODABLE STORIES
Short illustrated stories your child can sound out, because every word uses sounds they have already learned. Tap each word as you read it aloud and watch the progress fill in.
SIMPLE STORIES FROM THE BIBLE
Bible stories retold for early readers and written to the same phonics sequence — God Set It Up, Adam Hid, Dan in a Den, Rain on the Boat. Short sentences, warm pictures, with new stories added as they are written.
IGBO AND SPANISH
Igbo lessons in Ms. Oma's native pronunciation — authentic recordings in her own voice, real pronunciation, not AI-generated. Greetings, animals, numbers, food, everyday sentences, and the meanings behind common Igbo names. Spanish lessons too, from a native speaker.
