Onroute Intelligence

Field jobs, visits & evidence

The field app for engineers at companies that run on Onroute Intelligence. Onroute Intelligence is the field app for engineers whose company runs on the Onroute Intelligence platform. It is built for installation and maintenance teams, and it works only with an account your employer has set up for you. There is no sign-up in the app: if your company uses Onroute Intelligence, your office will give you your login. YOUR DAY Today shows what is in front of you: the visits you are booked on, a van check that is due, and any notice from the office that needs acknowledging. Jobs are listed for today, upcoming and previous. THE JOB Each job carries what you need on site: the customer, the address with a map link, phone numbers you can call or message with a tap, notes from the office and from the customer, and the scope of works. Start travel, arrive on site and depart from the same screen, and the office can see where the visit stands. If a visit cannot be completed, record why. FORMS AND CERTIFICATES The Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) is completed in the app: the three parties, installation scope and particulars, supply characteristics and earthing, design particulars, the schedule of inspections, the schedule of test results for each circuit across one or more distribution boards, and certification and sign-off. Changes save automatically. The job's other forms show their status, so you can see what is still outstanding. PHOTOS, DOCUMENTS AND NOTES Photograph the site, the equipment and the paperwork; photos attach to the job and upload automatically. Open the documents attached to a job. Add notes and log calls against the job so the office has the record. SIGNATURES Capture the customer's and the engineer's signatures on the device, with the time and the location where the signature was taken. If the customer cannot sign, record why. TASKS See the tasks assigned to you and the outstanding tasks on each job, and tick them off as you go. VAN CHECKS Complete your vehicle check in the app: pass or fail each item, add a note and a photo to anything that fails, and submit with your declaration and signature. The app tells you when a check is due. NOTICES AND TOOLBOX TALKS Toolbox talks, safety alerts and notices from your office appear in the app, and you acknowledge them there. LIBRARY Your company's reference documents and guides, searchable in the app. Pin a document to keep it on your device. TIME OFF See your leave allowance and what you have booked, and request time off from your phone. WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Today's jobs and their documents are kept on the device. Notes, calls, photos, signatures, certificate entries, visit updates, van checks and leave requests made without signal are queued and sent when the connection returns, and the app shows what is still waiting to sync. APPEARANCE Light or dark, following your phone's setting or chosen in the app. WHAT THE APP USES Camera and photo library: to photograph the site and attach photos to a job. Location: read once, when you capture a signature, to record where the work was signed off. The app does not track your location in the background. Support: support@onroute.io
