A new Return Trail, bosses that ask more of you, and every result card tells you where you stand. WHERE YOU STAND • Every result card ends with one true line about your run: the best run today, a top 100 run all time, or better than a share of all players. The campaign counts your longest correct-in-a-row. BOSSES • Three to five things to dodge in a row, faster, and the shot is a reaction: WAIT, then TAP! for a short window. Too early or too late and the boss comes again. The Daily Run's later bosses throw more. • Fixed: the Daily Run sent two or three bosses at once. One boss now, carrying the whole beat's health. • At speed, the blaster no longer reaches for zombies at the horizon: it opens up where you can see them. HOLD THE LINE • A zombie in sight is a zombie in reach: the stream hurts anything it touches, from the portal on. The waves are a little heavier to match. • Boosts cost what they say: a pedestal asks its seconds of your stream as you hold it when it comes in reach, RAPID FIREs and recruits counted. They can be hit from a little farther up the lane. RETURN TRAIL • A new look: today's gift front and centre, your week laid out below it, and a prize on the last day of each week: a Second Chance, then the hero BOLT. • More one-run starts along the way: a Shield, triple coins, Infinite Ammo. The coin gifts are smaller. ALSO • The icon follows the season by itself. Halloween all October: Haunted Hollow, pumpkin-head zombies and Halloween music. • Your phone can dim and lock on the home page again; it stays awake while you play. • A free Daily Run or stand now needs the day confirmed: airplane mode and a clock set forward no longer open a new day.

A new way to play, and Halloween. HOLD THE LINE The horde comes to you. Your hero stands at the line and never stops firing, and the number over your head is rounds per second. • Slide across four lanes and point the stream at what matters: the zombies, the boss, or the boost rolling toward you. • A math sign every wave. ×3 or +40? Stand under the better half and your fire rate jumps. • Boosts arrive one at a time: more damage, rapid fire, a second hero at your side, a side shot, a bomb on the whole field. A strip on screen shows everything you hold. • A boss walks in every fifth wave, and rush waves come in between. • Every hero brings a special: Max's OVERDRIVE, Zoe's SLOW TIME, Bolt's ROCKET BARRAGE, Zig's FOUR BARRELS and Rev's FORCE WALL. • Train your heroes with coins: faster fire, heavier rounds, more hearts, a wingman from the first wave. • Its own daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards, ranked by waves held. HALLOWEEN • All October the Daily Run and Hold the Line move to Haunted Hollow, a moonlit pumpkin patch full of pumpkin-head zombies, with Halloween music. • The home screen and the icon dress up too. ALSO NEW • Daily Run bosses fight back: dodge what they throw, then tap on green. • One Daily Run and one Hold the Line stand are free every day, three of each on your first day. The Unlimited Pass lifts both limits, along with the limit on new levels. • Fixed: GET UNLIMITED opens the store, where it should.

A much smaller download, bigger fights and a harder campaign. • The app is about 170 MB, down from 844 MB. • Boss fights are real fights now: the boss throws blocks, logs and beams at you in volleys. Dodge, jump and slide through them, then tap as the ring turns green to blast it. The bigger your number, the bigger the boss. • Far more varied math, in the campaign and the Daily Run: ×2 to ×5, halves, thirds and take-aways, and either lane can be the right one. • The campaign bites back. Three wrong signs and the horde outgrows your ammo, the pace climbs faster, and every level is a little harder than the last. Get every gate right and you still always pass. • Replay any level you have cleared, as often as you like. Without the Unlimited Pass, four new levels and one Daily Run are free every day; the pass now lifts both limits. • Mystery crates are free now: run through one for a shield or triple coins. • Seven new music tracks: the menu, four run moods, the Daily Run and the bosses. • Reinstalling keeps your name and your progress. • The daily reminder now arrives when the new Daily Run drops. • Shop prices and rewards rebalanced.
