Orbital Sequencer is a touch-first, scale-locked MIDI sequencer for iPad. Turn a circular pattern into evolving musical motion. Shape duration, pitch, velocity, octave, and mute directly on each step, then send the resulting MIDI into the instruments and music apps already in your workflow. ORBIT mode lets every active step keep its own duration, so the total sequence length emerges naturally from the pattern. RHYTHMIC mode balances the full sequence across a defined 1, 2, 4, or 8 bar phrase while preserving its musical shape. Randomize is focused and intentional. Choose the lane you want to explore, set its range, and randomize only that musical dimension. Arm Dice when you want the selected lane to evolve again as the sequence cycles.
