Ormem is a notes app you talk to yourself in. Dump any thought, typed or spoken, in about two seconds. No forms, no folders, no ceremony. Ormem quietly tidies it up, pulls out the to-dos, and files it by day, topic and place, so months later you can find it again just by describing what you remember.

Capture in one tap, from the app, a home screen widget, or the lock screen. Type it, say it, or attach a photo. Capture works offline and never waits on anything. Your note is saved the instant you finish, before any processing starts.
TRULY PRIVATE
Everything runs on your iPhone. There is no account to create, no server to sign in to, and nothing is uploaded. Your notes are encrypted on the device. Turn on airplane mode and the app works exactly the same. We cannot read your notes, because we never receive them.
ACTUALLY FINDABLE
Search by describing what you remember, even when you cannot remember the words you originally used. Browse a timeline of your days, filter by place, or open a to-do list that fills itself from things you mentioned in passing.
YOUR WORDS STAY YOURS
The cleanup is a suggestion, never a replacement. Your original text is always kept and always one tap away, so you can see exactly what Ormem changed and go back. The on-device model is small and it is not perfect. That is precisely why nothing it writes ever overwrites what you wrote.

ABOUT YOUR DEVICE
The writing and search intelligence uses Apple Intelligence and needs a compatible iPhone with Apple Intelligence switched on. On other iPhones, Ormem is still a fast, private, encrypted notes app with instant capture, the timeline, groups, widgets, and keyword, date and location search. The AI enrichments are the part that needs the newer chip.
