Before I upgraded to this new version, my PDF convertions worked slow but fine. Every file in my library was converted successfully. However after the update the fail rate is very high. On a batch of 90+ PDF only 18 converted successfully, and the rest were failed. I would like to go back to the previous version if I could.Regards,

I bought this app because I had hard copies of documents from the mid-1980s that I needed to digitize into an editable format. There are a lot of options available but this one was very reasonably priced compared to others ($30-$50 more) and I don’t need images or anything else, just text. I purchased and uploaded 2 PDFs of approximately 30 pages each. It converted each one in about 3 minutes which is very reasonable. The accuracy looks good so far. Occasional formatting issues but I have that with any PDF to Word converter that I have used online so not a big issue for me. I was very impressed that the documents have footers right at the bottom of the page and it put them into the footers on the Word file it generated. So for $20 which is cheaper than if you buy it from their website, it seems to do the trick pretty well.

I bought this product to convert a whole bumch of badly dated (some typed on an IBMin the late 1980’s, complete with pen and ink mark ups and edits. This program tore through about 500 of them in two days, and the biggest limitation was I couldn’t keep up. Yes, it throws an occasional page break, has a little trouble with margins an documents in really, really bad shape. But it has a great editing interface that lets you easily fix things.I do think this program is better at converting to .rtf than MS Word. At least that was the case with m documents. I don’t think that is the fault of the program, as much as Word tries to convert EVERYTHING, stray marks, paper tears, holes, and everything else. It converts whtat it an’t read as text to graphics, which can drive you insane. For me, rtf is just cleaner. But the accuracy of this program is astounding. I had taken on a project that I thought was going to take months and completed it in less than a week.I am not good at writing novels. Judy buy it already.

I have a lot of pdf files to convert to word so I thought Adobe wold be best. It’s $500 or so, but they offereed a free trial. The word files Adobe produced had thusands of glitches to fix. Took me at least ten hours of frustrating work to fix a 30 pages file. Drove me nuts. When the trial ran out I tried a bunch of low cost converters tht were better than Adobe but still not great. Then I tried Pdf to Worl Converter. It iw by far the best. There are glitche to fix, but a 30 page file takes about an hour and a half. This is a super prduct, absolutly superior to Adobe Acrobat DC. Btw, this is a real review, I am a real customer with no connection to the company whatever.
