Normally, I don’t bother to write a review, but I will this time. This is my second little app I downloaded from the APP Store. The first was totally free, but when you dragged and dropped the files you wanted to merge, the order would be in reverse, I found a work-around, but there was always ONE file that I had to move by hand to the top. This porgram is great for a simple merge or split. My suggestion though: next upgrade, allow us to drag and drop files we want to merge — that would speed things up. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to tell people you have up to three times to use the program before thay have to buy it (might want to limit up to 5 for each split, merge and unlock) before you bump up to Pro. I knew going into this, you would be asking for $$$, but I didnt know it was 3x (or maybe you were going to allow merges for free, but limit splits and unlocks to 3X before you ask for Pro fees). Anyways…a good app.

Love the interface and it works well, does exactly what it says it needs to do.I would prefer 2 things though (perhaps there is a way to do some or all of them already and I don't know so maybe the developer will respond but...) 1. I find myself dragging and dropping PDFs into the program out of habit but that doesn't work. I would prefer the ease of use of dragging and dropping instead of having to go through my various folders again when I have the PDF opened in a Finder window already.2. Having the titles be the original titles of the PDF and 1 or 2 tacked on to them. Right now it just outputs the file names as '1 'or '2'3. Maybe a loading bar for when it's splitting so I can know when it's ready

Update: dinged a star because the Pro version is too expensive ($13) for only being a PDF merger/splitter. I didn't know we're only given limited credits and after I finished testing the credits were out.I needed to merge a large book (800 pages), and using MacOS preview's edit --> insert function kept freezing and crashing. I was getting very frustrated until I found this app. It literally merged the entire book in less than 2 seconds.Love when I find a piece of software that works really well and does what it's supposed to do really fast!

Designed for a specific purpose; split, merge, unlock. No menus with tons of options you don't need or know how to use, just 3 that you most definitely will use. The simplicity is the beauty, and it handles pdf files over 1 Gig too, so awesome. Worth every penny and it works great. I don't mind not having the drag and drop feature, it keeps the program small and agile.
