Version 2.12.0
New in this version:
• We now support HW4 vehicles and B Pillar footage feeds! Import your events, and then smoothly swap between repeater and B Pillar footage feeds. On iPad and Mac, you can view all 6 feeds at once!
• We've added initial TeslaUSB support! Please reach out if you have issues!
• You can now filter by trigger camera, to focus in on situations where your car experienced an incident.
• Too many events to look through? Simply choose a date range and import only what you really want to see.
• Drag the left, right, and rear video players on iPad / Mac to move them to a different part of the screen.
• Export your TeslaCam event as a grid including all camera angles in 4K, 2K, 1080p, 720p, and Portrait HD (perfect for sharing on socials!). HW4 vehicles are also supported.
• Delete events from within the player, without needing to open the event info screen.
• You can now choose to start events at the event marker, instead of at the beginning of the event.
• You can now choose for event playback to loop back to the start when the event ends.

Constant crashing
Version 2.3.0 has never opened for me. Just crashes. Tried to reinstall, restart etc. just wanted to let the developer know. All iOS is up to date.

Misleading premium description
In the slideshow that shows you what you get for subscribing to premium, it shows the ability to export to a Combined Grid view. I subscribed explicitly for this feature. The problem is that it doesn’t exist. Once you subscribe, in the Help you can see that this is a feature they might deliver in the future (it says it will be delivered in 2024, but it’s currently April 2025).

We can confirm this feature is available in Perception and that other Premium subscribers have been able to access it (although we do need to update the help section to confirm it's added!).
After adding your events from your USB / NAS drive, open one of the events. In the top right corner of your screen, you should see the share button. Press the share button, and then the 'Combined Grid' option is displayed. With that selected, you should be able to export the event using the grid option.
If after confirming you're on the latest version, and after following the above steps, you are unable to see the grid export option then please reach out to us on support@peslostudios.com and we'd be more than happy to help get this sorted for you!

App doesn’t upload from USB
Used the correct dongles and app wouldn’t load. Waste of $3 you’re better off plugging directly to your Mac. Don’t buy, don’t waste your money. Stupid app, horrible design. 100 percent flawed. I work in tech and found this app useless.

We do offer a 14 day free trial (no signup or payment required) that starts when you first add your own events, so you’re able to try out Perception without needing to pay for Premium. If you’ve chosen to pay for Premium before trying the app, please be sure to reach out to Apple for a refund!
It sounds like you’ve had issues loading events from your drive - if you’re on iPhone did you use a powered dongle? If not, the drive won’t have enough power to work correctly.
In the last year since our first release this is the first time we’ve heard the app totally doesn’t work for someone, and our anonymous stats show others finding value in Perception every day, so we’d love to help you out.
