SPEED IMPROVEMENTS We’ve turbocharged performance across the app to give you faster load times and smoother navigation, especially when working with large lists and maps. TEAM+ ARCHIVE PIN FEATURE Team+ users can now archive pins to keep workspaces clean without losing historical data. Perfect for managing long-term projects or decluttering after a campaign. BUG FIXES We squashed a bunch of bugs. Thanks to everyone who reported issues! NEW: SOLO PLAN Our new Solo plan is here. Designed for individuals who need powerful mapping tools without the complexity. The weather’s starting to get a little toasty here at Pin Drop HQ. One of the downsides of England is it’s just not build for mildly warm weather! Regardless, we’ve been busy updating the app and making some big plans for the app and website as we had into the summer and beyond. More on that to come soon. Today marks a huge milestone for Pin Drop—we’ve been on the App Store for 14 years. Fourteen! That’s 5,114 consecutive days—which is pretty mind-blowing when you stop to think about it. A lot has happened in that time, and we’ve had the privilege of hearing from so many of you. We love it! To everyone who has downloaded Pin Drop, shared their places, and used it in incredible ways—thank you. At the end of the day, it’s not just about the app—it’s about you. This is different from the Magnetic North Pole, which moves much faster—sometimes up to 55 km (34 miles) per year! Even GPS systems must constantly adjust for these shifts to maintain accuracy. So technically, if you stood at the exact North Pole today and returned in a few decades, you’d be standing somewhere slightly different!
