On-call paging that actually gets through. Critical alerts bypass silent mode and DND so you never miss an incident. PingParrot is on-call paging built for teams that can't afford to miss an alert. When something breaks at 2 AM, PingParrot keeps notifying until someone confirms they're on it. Critical Alerts Entitlement — Apple approved PingParrot holds Apple's granted Critical Alerts Entitlement. Critical and high priority pages play at full volume even when your phone is silenced or Do Not Disturb is on. Normal and low priority pages use Time-Sensitive delivery, breaking through Focus modes while respecting your volume settings. No configuration needed. Repeating notifications Every page repeats on your configured interval — every 30 seconds, every minute — until a team member acknowledges it. The moment someone taps Acknowledge, the repeating stops across all devices instantly. On-Call Schedules Build rotations on any interval — weekly, bi-weekly, or custom. Pages sent to a schedule automatically reach whoever is currently on duty. Need to cover a shift? Tap Cover Now directly from the app — no browser required. Escalation Policies Define multi-step chains that fire automatically when a page goes unacknowledged. Page the on-call engineer first, then their backup, then the whole team — each step on its own timer. Multi-channel delivery Every page sends a push notification and an email simultaneously. Team plan users can add SMS for recipients who need a text as a final fallback. Acknowledge from anywhere Tap Acknowledge directly from the lock screen notification — no need to open the app. A one-tap acknowledge link is also included in every email. Full audit trail Every delivery attempt, repeat, and acknowledgement is logged with timestamps so you know exactly who was notified and when they responded. REST API & Webhooks Trigger pages from Grafana, Prometheus, or any monitoring tool. Fire outgoing webhooks on page events to connect PingParrot to Slack or custom dashboards.
