Pluto is a highly refined and customizable at-a-glance system monitor for your Mac. Stay informed of what's really going on behind the scenes of your Mac without dropping what you're currently working on.

Pluto is a revolutionary new system monitor "HUD" that gives you a streamlined view into the internal workings of your Mac. Each intricately designed module can be individually disabled, pinned to collapsed mode, reordered and adjusted for detail. The charts show an overview of activity over the last 60 seconds.

Clicking on the collapse button (or double clicking the panel) can collapse it when you want less distraction and individual modules can be optionally set to remain visible in collapsed mode. Pluto can be collapsed to either the left side or the right side of the screen.

Choose from a variety of included themes or create your own with a few clicks using the built-in theme editor. Create a personalized desktop with both style and usability in mind.

Plenty of system monitors will display information in a large obtrusive window or a nearly useless tiny view in the menu bar. We think you'll find Pluto's design is the perfect balance for a system monitor. It's a great tool for software developers and power-users alike.

More modules & themes are coming soon. Submit your ideas & themes for inclusion.

Designed on Apple Silicon, works great with both Intel and Apple processors.

Nice looking resource monitor

This is a nice looking app that works well for what it does. The built-in themes offer plenty of choices for choosing the best colors to match your desktop. All of the main stats that I like having in a resource monitor are there, with the notable exception of the top apps, but that's a minor detail. There is no way to currently stack the modules vertically, which would work better on my display, but if that finds its way into a future version of the app, then it'll be a five star app.

Great Monitoring Application

I have used many utilities for various Mac's and this one is about the most comprehensive and easy to use. It surpasses every similar app that I've used over the past 15 years of using Mac laptops. I highly recommend this utility above all others.

Lots of themes, but modules not as customizeable as you might expect?

Pros/Cons for me... I was under the impression the individual modules could show a wider range of user-configurable detail, since the marketing photos show so many different variations-- which are really just the same set but with different themes. The modules (CPU, Network Etc) can be shown or hidden, and then each module tends to have one or two options for 'more detail', versus 'less detail'. The details and module order are fixed. Maybe not what you expect from a 'highly refined customomizeable HUD display?

There's a screen shot of the extensive user configurable theme options, which is accurate, but few or any of the module configuration, perhaps becuase there isn't much to demo? There's no trial version to my knowldged or I might have ruled this out for my needs.

What is shown via the pre-set selections are well crafted, and there are lots of pre-defined color themes to select from, and analog clock is nice anchor point to show/hide modules. You can also pin the app (above others) as needed. Overall 'look' is clean and well done.

For me, I expcted to have more details available and customizable for a HUD display --network volumes drives including available space and network disk IO (maybe system limitation there?) should be available. Top resource consuming apps for each module. So I like this app for sure, but got the impression it offered more detail and more user customizeable option(s0. The developer appears to read reviews, and that also seems promising for future improvements for sure.

Thank you for your review. You can reorder modules by dragging them in Preferences. Also note that you can pin/unpin modules by right clicking them in the panel - when pinned the module will be visible even when the panel is collapsed. By default the clock is pinned.

We are working to add top consuming processes. As for network disk support — we will see if we can add this.
