1.2.3 TODAY REFRESHES ON YOUR SCHEDULE The Tuk of the Day, Word of the Day, Quote of the Day, and the day's Kirtan shabad and Sakhi now turn over on the interval you choose in Settings, without closing and reopening Pothi. GURBANI CORRECTIONS Spelling and pause-mark (danda) corrections from the content authority to Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Savaiye, Benti Chaupai and Rehras Sahib (T.). Rehras Sahib (T.) now includes four stanzas that were being skipped. SANTHIA Previous tuk and Next tuk carry the gold chevrons. A new switch hides the pad ched on each tuk, so you can practise reading the joined line and reveal the split when you want it. PROJECTOR The wall's own address now shows a QR code and a printable sheet, so the sangat can open the read-along page on their own phones. The on-screen controls are clearer, and the address and the code on the share sheet are drawn so they read on every theme. HUKAMNAMA WIDGET The large home-screen widget starts at the top and turns pages, so a long Hukamnama can be read in full.

1.2.2 CREATE PDF IN YOUR LANGUAGE Choose the language a Create PDF sheet prints its own words in: English, Punjabi or Hindi. The headings, the ang, the date and the page numbers follow your choice, even when the app is in another language, so you can print a Punjabi sheet for the sangat from an English app. Create PDF can now include the Fareedkot Teeka. Tuk by tuk, it comes after each tuk's padh arth; for the whole shabad, it prints as its own section. YOUR CHOICES STAY Create PDF, Create poster, the Sehaj Paath poster and a reading plan's invitation now open the way you left them: the layout, the sizes, the font, the frame, the meanings you chose and the words you typed stay until you change them. The Hukamnama poster keeps your own line, and a shabad you paste in stays too. The Sehaj Paath poster and the invitation can now be made in English, Punjabi or Hindi. GUTKA SAHIB PAGES In the Gutka Sahib page style, a tuk too long for one page now carries on to the next page instead of being cut off. With Bold Gurmukhi on, a page's last line is no longer cut off either. BACKUPS A backup now always includes everything you have saved, even straight after Pothi opens, and restoring one brings back every list. Restoring a backup, or using Sync my devices, now also brings back where you had got to in each reading, so Continue reading picks up from the later place.

1.2.1 PRINT A SHABAD A whole shabad can now become a printable A4 PDF. Start from any tuk (Tuk options, then Share & copy, then Shabad as PDF), or from the new Create PDF card in My Pothi, under Create poster. Create PDF starts from one of your saved shabads, a search, or a shabad you paste in. The search covers every granth, with All, SGGS and Sri Dasam Granth to choose from. A pasted shabad prints with no granth or ang, since pasted words have no place in a granth to name. Print the whole shabad or go tuk by tuk, with the padh arth, the Punjabi arth and the English under each line as you choose. A long shabad carries on over as many pages as it needs. Choose a frame, where the lines sit, the ੴ at the head of the first page, a line of your own on every page, and the date at the foot. The Gurbani size, the Arth size and the Gurmukhi font are set for the sheet alone, so the way you read stays as it is. Share PDF sends just the sheet, named with the date, and Print is one of the choices. Create PDF can also be pinned to Today's quick actions. MOVING AROUND Tap the tab you are already on: from a page inside that tab it takes you back to the tab's first page, and on that first page it takes you to the top. WORD OF THE DAY Word of the day, Pothi Kosh and search now show a word's meaning where some words showed only a short note of the language they come from. The Word of the day page counts its tuks granth by granth, so its figures match Today's card. POTHI ON DEVICE The guide explains Create PDF, both text sizes, and the new way the tabs work.

1.2.0 TODAY The Tuk of the day now has Save, Create poster and Share, like the Quote of the day. Save keeps the tuk in My Pothi, under Saved lines. The tuk in Today's header, Pothi Parmesar Ka Thaan, now ends with its double danda, as it is written in Gurbani. QUOTES Every quote card now offers its heart, Create poster and Share. The heart keeps a quote in Saved quotes and Save keeps a tuk, so each card has one way to keep its line. Anything you saved before stays where it is. HISTORY History now keeps every reading, not only the last 30, and it keeps the first reading you open after starting the app. In Punjabi and Hindi, History has a new name: ਹਾਲ ’ਚ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ and हाल में पढ़े. IN YOUR LANGUAGE With Pothi in Punjabi or Hindi, a shabad opened on its own names its granth and its page in your language, and so do History, the reading record, your saved tuks and the Sakhi Quiz. HOW POTHI LOOKS With Pothi's gold as your accent, Readable on a light theme now shows the gold itself, as the dark themes always have. The titles on the large cards, such as Kids & Family and the Pothi Learning Course, now follow your Text colour. POTHI ON DEVICE The guide names the Tuk of the day's buttons and how a quote is kept, no longer tells you to hold a tuk, and gives Pothi Kosh as about 86,000 entries.

1.1.9 THE CALENDAR The Nanakshahi calendar now names every gurpurab on SGPC's own 2026-27 calendar. Fourteen were missing, among them most of the Gurgaddi days, five Joti Jot days and Sees Saskar Diwas, and two stood on the wrong day: Parkash Guru Amardas Ji is 17 Vaisakh and Parkash Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji is 7 Phagun. The Masya and Puranmashi days match SGPC's calendar too. Under the date, Today now shows what the calendar names for the day, such as a gurpurab, a sangrand, Masya or Puranmashi, and nothing on a day with none. THE JANTRI The Jantri opens SGPC's 2026-27 Jantri, and its dates now agree with the calendar: Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji's Parkash on 19 February, 7 Phagun; the Foundation of Sri Akal Takht Sahib on 21 Harh; Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's First Parkash on 12 September, 27 Bhadon; and Sees Saskar Diwas Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji on 18 December, 3 Poh. Six dates from January and February 2026 are corrected as well. BANIS Sukhmani Sahib's twenty-four saloks, as a reading of their own. Every salok is read whole, and the card stands directly under Sukhmani Sahib in More banis, in Khajana, in Learn by heart and in Santhiya. For a Hindi reader, Shabad Mahala 9 now stands above Salok Mehla 9 in More banis, as it already did in English and Punjabi. HOW POTHI LOOKS The Text tab's colour is now the Gurbani text colour, and it changes the Gurbani alone. The Theme tab's Text colour changes the app's own words. They used to be one setting. If you had already chosen a colour, your Gurbani keeps it.

1.1.8 HOW POTHI LOOKS Choose a Text colour and every page follows it, on every theme. Readable is the default and keeps each theme's own ink; choose a colour and the headings, dates, card text and menus take it. Black, white, gray and silver join the colours, and the Gurbani can take your colour too. Seven wallpaper themes: Dawn, Mist, Sage, Lavender, Sand, Titanium and Night sky. They dress every page rather than only Today, and the cards sit on them as glass. A shine gold accent drawn as metal, and every chosen control and filled button now wears the accent you picked instead of a tone of it. The colour you have chosen wears a ring and a tick, so you can see which one it is, and each row of colours is one line with an arrow where there is more to see. The live preview stays put while you change the text size, the page style and the translations, instead of scrolling away under your hand. POSTERS AND THE WALL Thirteen poster palettes, one for every app theme, on the shabad poster, the Hukamnama poster, the Sehaj Paath poster and the invitation. A text colour for the posters, and one for each projector screen, kept readable on whatever it is drawn on. The arth follows it. LEARNING Learn a bani by heart. Pick any bani and a few of its tuks come up each day, hidden a little more as they come back to you. Pothi never judges a recitation: you say whether it came back, and it schedules from that. Santhiya: a bani one tuk at a time, the joined line above the same tuk in pad ched with its pauses marked, and the teeka's meaning under each word it explains. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji reads straight through, and every reading remembers where you stopped. Ask Guru Ji: ask in your own words and Pothi answers with tuks, each with its ang and its author, and the words you typed marked inside the arth. Gurbani's own questions are browsable too, filed by the word that asks them. Your reading record: what you read and when, with a pace measured from your own readings rather than a number somebody invented. If you have a little time: every bani listed by how long it takes you to read, in three bands, with a way to time yourself. Reading plans: any banis paced to a date you choose, with an invitation card for the sangat. FOR A SANGAT Saanjha Sehaj Paath: split a paath across a hall. The device holding the plan hands out ang ranges to anyone on the same Wi-Fi, nobody signs up for anything, and a printed sheet with a QR code reaches people who never see the wall. Read along on your own phone from the projector's code, now with your own translation layers and a tap on any word for its meaning. Learning by heart and Santhiya reach the wall, and there the wall shows the prompt rather than the answer. A switch to turn the second screen off, so a connected monitor is yours again while you work. SYNC Sync my devices: bookmarks, comments, lists and where you have reached move between your own devices over your own network. No account, and nothing leaves the network. READING Every word of the padh arth under a tuk looks itself up, and the word popup quotes that tuk's own padh arth. Today names the eight velas, and the vela opens its page in Pothi on Device. A bani read to the end wears the gold tick. Dates and page words are written in the language you are reading in. FIXED A link to Pothi opened nothing when the app was closed. The rating prompt could appear over Gurbani mid paath. It waits until a reading is finished and closed. The kirtan shabad of the day fell back to a seeded shabad on every gurpurab. Counts read "1 tuks", and one number was answering two different questions: how many tuks a word is on, and how many times it is written. Vishraam marks show wherever Gurbani is read, and a stanza close counts as a pause. The first launch after this update takes a little longer than usual while the updated database is copied.

1.1.7 THE DICTIONARY This release is mostly the Mahan Kosh, and a tapped word answers better in nearly every way. The meaning comes first. Where an entry opens with the Sanskrit or Persian word it comes from, that source now sits below the meaning under its own heading, for every numbered sense of the entry rather than only the first. An entry whose whole meaning was a pointer to another word now shows the meaning it points at, with the pointer kept above it so nothing is put in the wrong word's mouth. Close to eight thousand meanings carried characters that came out of the original scan as the wrong letter or as an empty box. About one word tap in six met one. They read correctly now. 2,326 entries had lost their word origin and the marker that says whether a word is a noun or a verb. Both are back. 2,258 entries ran their numbered meanings together with nothing between them. Each meaning stands on its own again. A second dictionary rides with it: 1,025 headwords from SGGS Kosh by Dr Gurcharan Singh, badged as itself so it is never read as the Mahan Kosh. Nearly every word of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji now answers a tap. Search results, the Kosh letter pages and Word of the day used to preview thousands of entries as a single character. They show the meaning now. READING A bani opens where you stopped. Pothi recorded only the line a reading opened at, so Continue reading took you back to the first tuk of a bani you were halfway through. History opens the bani it names. Tapping Sukhmani Sahib in History opened Ang 262 in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji reader instead, which is a different reading with different settings. BANIS Collections, at the top of More banis: Sundar Gutka, Beant Bani, Vaaran and Savaiye. Ways to slice the banis Pothi already holds, so a reading is one tap from the gutka it belongs to. Vaaran holds all twenty-two vaars of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. SEARCH First letter search reaches all 2,675 kirtan shabads. 71 of them could not be found that way before, under any spelling. PROJECTOR The phone remote now has a switch, and it starts off. Turn it on in the operator's network sheet when you want it, and a fresh six digit code is made each time. The read along page the sangat scan is unaffected and stays open to everyone. The operator's controls fit a phone screen again. FIXED 170 lines of the Hindi arth had lost the danda that ends a line, and carried a Latin lookalike in its place. Four sections of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji declared a page span their own lines do not fill, and one of them ended past the end of the granth. Two dictionary entries answered with a harder word than the one you tapped, or with nothing at all. The first launch after this update takes a little longer than usual while the new dictionary is copied.

1.1.6 YOUR READING A reading record, in My Pothi: what you read, on which day, and how long it took. A bani or a composition counts once, on the day you reach the end, and the record rides your backup. If you have a little time, on Today: three buttons for 5 to 10, 15 to 25 and 30 to 99 minutes, opening a page that lists every bani and composition Pothi holds, more than eighty of them, each with the minutes it should take you. Time yourself on Jap Ji Sahib, Anand Sahib, Asa Ki Var, Sukhmani Sahib or the Lavan and those minutes follow your own pace instead of an average. MEANINGS Tap any word of the daily Hukamnama for its Mahan Kosh meaning. Read Together and both simran screens answer a tap now as well, through the same dictionary the reader has always used. The daily Hukamnama shows the vishraam pauses, if you have them turned on. ON THE LOCK SCREEN All seven widgets fit the Lock Screen now, as a circle, a rectangle or a single line. An iPhone on iOS 14 or 15 keeps exactly the widgets it had. Live Darbar Sahib kirtan stands on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while it plays, and says when it is reconnecting instead of looking paused. Siri and Shortcuts reach Pothi: live kirtan, today's Hukamnama, the word of the day, simran and Sehaj Paath. Any of them can go on the Action Button. COMMENTS AND LISTS Comment on a word, on a tuk, or on a whole shabad, and each one says which of the three it is about to write on. Writing on a tuk saves it for you. Comments and lists is now a page for Words and a page for Tuks, each with its own Comments and Lists tabs. PROJECTOR A read along code on the wall, so the sangat follow the same tuk on their own phones, each in the layers they choose, and tap a word there for its meaning. The same code prints on an A4 sheet for the notice board. A phone remote for whoever is driving the wall, behind a six digit code that is new every time you start sharing. The read along page stays open to everyone: only the remote is locked. A ceremony program, a presenter strip that drags anywhere and stays, and a Projector page in Settings. ELSEWHERE The five main pages use the full width of a wide screen. The side rail can sit on the left or the right, and carries the destinations you put on it. Pothi on Device is complete: 12 sections and 72 features, card by card, with the real steps. Learn to Read has moved in with Kids and Family. FIXED Daily reminders drifted an hour twice a year, at a daylight saving change. So did reading streaks, which could reset for somebody who had not missed a day. The rating prompt could appear over Gurbani mid paath. It waits until you have left the reading now. A comment on a tuk went nowhere you could see it, and filing a tuk in a list took it out of Saved lines. Five things you had chosen to keep were left out of every backup. Tuk of the day showed English whatever language you had chosen. Closing the projector panel could crash the app.

1.1.5 READING Sri Dasam Granth and Vaaran Bhai Gurdas Ji now read right through, page by page, instead of stopping at their opening bani. Bhai Nand Lal Ji's writings read straight through as well. Jump straight to any panna by number, and the page turn names each granth's own unit. A gold rule can now mark where one shabad ends, in every page style. TODAY'S HUKAMNAMA It now comes from SGPC, who publish it first, so it is never a day behind. Only which shabad it is comes from them; the lines and every arth layer are rendered from Pothi's own offline database, so today's Hukamnama reads exactly as that shabad reads anywhere else in the app. The home screen widget is on iPhone now, with six more widgets to choose from. SIMRAN The Gurmantra timer can walk the four stages of simran, with the minutes for each set by the practitioner. A bell and a double buzz mark every turn, so a sitting can be kept with eyes closed. The clock is measured, not counted, so time with the screen locked is never lost. It is said the naam moves inward through these four. No timing is prescribed anywhere: the app counts only the minutes you choose. PROJECTOR Quick slides put Mool Mantar, the closing salok of Japji Sahib, Anand Sahib in six pauris, the four Lavan for an Anand Karaj and a full screen Waheguru on the wall in one tap, and you can pin your own. Every line is read from the bundled database, never typed in. A page turn no longer flickers on a mirrored screen. APPEARANCE Gold artwork is drawn as it was made, keeping the metallic shading, with a new As drawn / Follow accent choice on the Theme tab. On a wide screen the tabs can run down the side. ELSEWHERE The Punjabi keyboard button now closes what it opened, in every search. Copy a poster as a picture, not just as text. Hold the app icon for today's Hukamnama, live kirtan, and your last two readings. A sleep timer with your own minutes, and a Play Live Kirtan button on every reminder. More Gurbani, reachable by name • 32 more banis open directly by name: the 21 Vaars, Shabad Mahala 9, and ten compositions that were in the data all along, among them Vanjara, Barah Maha Manjh, Karhale, Bavan Akhri, Thitee, Birharre, Patti Likhi and Ghorian. • Benti Chaupai Sahib (T.) now reads through to its close, with the Savaiya and the Dohra. Pothi Kirtan, and a lot of care for the details. • New: browse the Amrit Keertan's own 113 subject headings, with every one of the 2,675 kirtan shabads under them. • Fixed: a kirtan shabad from Vaaran Bhai Gurdas Ji, the Bhai Nand Lal works, Dasam Granth or Sarabloh now opens in ITS OWN granth.
