Create, copy, inspect, convert and rename files directly from Finder. Start with three free actions, then unlock every Pro tool with one purchase. Power Right Button adds a configurable collection of practical file tools directly to Finder's contextual menu. Complete common tasks without opening Terminal, an editor, or another utility. CREATE WHERE YOU ARE Create valid starter files for text, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, XML, YAML, CSS, JavaScript, Swift, Python, SQL, shell scripts, README, .gitignore, Dockerfile, .env, plist, MIT License, and a Swift project folder structure. COPY THE FORMAT YOU NEED Copy names, extensions, POSIX or relative paths, file URLs, Markdown links, shell-safe paths, and ready-to-edit mv, cp, or rm commands. INSPECT AND TRANSFORM Calculate MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512 checksums. Copy file sizes, image dimensions, and media duration. Generate UUIDs, passwords, API keys, JWT secrets, and Lorem Ipsum. Encode Base64, format JSON, and encode URLs. SAFE FILE OPERATIONS Create non-destructive text and image conversions. Preview batch renames before applying them. Existing files are never silently overwritten, and conversions preserve the originals. A MENU THAT STAYS FOCUSED Choose actions individually or enable and disable a complete group. Your preferences are saved automatically. FREE AND PRO Create XML, Copy Name, and Copy Extension are free with no time limit. One non-consumable Pro purchase unlocks every other current action and future Pro actions. There is no subscription, and previous purchases can be restored. PRIVATE BY DESIGN File processing stays on your Mac. Power Right Button has no accounts, analytics, ads, tracking, or file uploads. StoreKit handles purchases through Apple. Files are shared only when you explicitly choose a macOS sharing service. Requires macOS 15.0 or later. Finder extension activation is required once after installation.
