• Photoview: see your board as the fab will make it, one side at a time, in the solder mask color you will order (green, purple, red, yellow, blue, white or black), with HASL, ENIG or OSP on the exposed copper and white or black silkscreen. Open it from Tools, or with Preview in the Gerber export. • Solder mask: Board Settings has a Solder mask section (how far each opening reaches past its copper, the narrowest mask strip, whether vias are covered), a pad can have its own expansion, the solder mask layers show where the mask is open, and the design rule check warns where the mask between two pads is too narrow. • Type an exact rotation: tap the rotation handle and type the angle, or pick a preset. A ↺ | ↻ switch shows which way it turns, and a part whose pins sit on the grid lands on the grid again. • Edit a footprint's pads without ungrouping it: the Pads row in its panel lists them by pin number, to rename or renumber them or put them on a net. • 43 new footprints, among them 18 mechanical keyboard switches (Cherry MX, Kailh Choc, Gateron low profile). The TO-92, TO-3 and DO-201 footprints now fit their parts. • Smoother and lighter on iPhone and iPad: a two-finger zoom draws the board from one picture, the design rule check takes about a second on an iPhone 8 instead of 17 and no longer freezes the editor, KiCad boards with copper pours open and edit quickly, and the app uses less memory. • Gerber export: rounded pads keep their shape, pads come out at their real size, cut-outs and slots reach the fab, and exposed copper and holes are no longer under the mask. Export your Gerbers again for any board you have not had made yet.

• Array duplicate is free on every plan. On iPhone it opens as a sheet at the bottom of the screen with the board still in view, so you see the copies change as you type. • Finishing a track works again: while you draw, the buttons above the board show the check mark to finish and the arrow that removes the last segment. Every point you have placed is now marked, so you can see where the track bends. • Busy boards are smoother: selecting, panning, placing parts and routing tracks redraw only what changed, and tools respond the moment you tap them. An editor you are not touching no longer redraws the screen, which saves battery. • The app opens faster, the footprint library uses about 100 MB less memory, and the library and Share & export open faster. The PDF export screen no longer freezes while it redraws its preview. • Imports: text, board outlines and cut-outs now come in from Eagle and Sprint-Layout boards; Eagle boards come in at their real size; Sprint-Layout 5 boards (.lay) open; and pads, vias, copper pours and silkscreen come in the way Eagle, Sprint-Layout and KiCad draw them. • Panning stops when your finger stops.

• Now in Spanish, French, Korean, Turkish and Italian — every screen. Pick the language in Settings, or let the app follow your iPhone. An iPhone set to Filipino now gets the Filipino app too. • Unsaved changes survive a crash. If the app closes before your latest changes are saved, it offers them back the next time you open it. • Typing never hides the field any more: on an iPad in landscape the footprint search stays above the keyboard, and on an iPhone held sideways panels and dialogs open full screen. • 147 new footprints — the library now holds 2,960 parts — including every USB connector in KiCad's library and Espressif's official ESP32 and ESP8266 modules. The USB, ESP32-WROOM-32 and ESP-12F pads now match the real parts: place them again before you order a board. • KiCad boards import the way KiCad draws them, from KiCad 4 to today, and a KiCad ground pour no longer covers every pad. • Footprint search finds more of what people type: KiCad names, order codes, "18dip", "100μF". • Fixed: Sign in with Apple could stop working for good after an interrupted sign-in; the copper pour could cover a track; Modify together could pull a pin out of its part; and the Gerber export no longer tells iPhone and iPad users to use the web app.

• Smoother on iPhone and iPad. Zooming and panning keep up with your finger, even on older iPads, and editing with a copper fill no longer stutters. • A lighter, cleaner look on iPhone and iPad: the app now uses the same typeface as on Android and the web, and the tool bar sizes itself to your screen. • Nothing runs off the screen on small iPhones any more. Dialogs scroll, buttons wrap onto a new line, and choices no longer split words in half. • 440 new footprints — the library now holds 2,813 parts — including every QFN and DFN with its centre pad, power packages, TFT displays, Hi-Link modules and GPS and GSM modules. • Fixed footprints that did not match the real chip: TQFP-32/44 and LQFP-32/44 (ATmega328P, ATmega32U4), MSOP-8, and the centre pad of the RP2040, ESP32-C3 and others. The Bosch BME280, BMP280 and BME680 footprints were mirrored. Footprints already on a board keep their old shape: place them again before you order. • Clearer wording in every language.

• 545 new footprints — the library now holds 2,373 parts, among them Phoenix terminal blocks, JST and Molex connectors, LCD and OLED displays, relays, rotary encoders and interface ICs. • Footprint search understands how people actually type: misspellings, non-English names and shorthand such as "100nF" or "4k7" now find the part. • Design-rule results, the net probe and the ruler open in a drawer along the bottom of the editor, beside the tools that fix a problem. Tapping a violation zooms to the problem itself, and the design rules have a dialog of their own. • Aligning a reference photo is simpler: Align walks through Scale, Place and Lock, and you can drag the photo into place on the board. • Sharing works on iPad. It failed there every time; the share menu now opens next to where you tapped. • Exporting no longer opens the share sheet by itself when the file is kept in Exports — share it from its row there. • With a keyboard attached, every tool has a one-key shortcut. Help → Keyboard shortcuts lists them all. • Fixed: tracks that would not finish on some pads, an interrupted library update that could leave the library empty, several incorrect footprints, and several crashes. A failed subscription purchase now explains what went wrong, in your language.

• Fewer crashes, and smoother thumbnails. Several crashes are fixed — including one that could close the app while exporting — and saving a board's thumbnail no longer makes the app stutter. • The Würth 5.5 mm barrel jack is a through-hole part again. Boards that already use it keep the old copy — re-place the part to pick up the fix. • Non-plated mounting holes now get their own drill file, so they no longer come back plated and undersized. • The design-rule check now looks inside footprints, so boards that passed before may report real problems for the first time. • Oval (slot) holes in through-hole pads — width, length and angle, for flat connector pins like DC barrel jacks and USB-C shields.

• Share a board with anyone, from the Share & export dialog in the editor or the board's menu in the project list. Publish a read-only copy of a board at a short link that opens in any browser, with no account needed to look at it. You choose whether others may build on it, and under which licence — CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA 4.0 or CC0 1.0 — and someone who is signed in can then remix it into a project of their own. Your name appears on it only if you ask for it, the reference photos in your project are never published, and you can stop sharing at any time. • Edit the board outline by typing numbers. Corners are numbered on the board and listed with their exact X and Y and corner radius, in millimetres or mils, so a cutout can be placed precisely instead of dragged into place. One radius can be applied to every corner at once. Open it from Board settings → Edit outline. • Report a public board. Every shared board carries a Report control that works without an account, for a board that copies a design, shows someone's personal data, or should not be public. • 93 new footprints, including the Raspberry Pi Zero, the Digispark, the ESP32-WROOM-1 family, the common Zener series and a transformer category. The library now holds 1,823 parts. • Boards have a visible edge, so the board reads as a board rather than as a patch of grid — in the editor and in an exported timelapse. • Typing a coordinate on an outline point works when two edges line up. Setting a corner to Y=0 — or dragging it onto a guide — was rejected as "the outline would cross itself" whenever the two edges merely lay along the same line without ever crossing. • A number typed into Board settings is kept when the dialog closes. Typing a width and pressing Close discarded it, with nothing said, if the field still had the cursor in it. • Re-opening outline editing keeps its numbers where they were. Leaving and returning moved the origin the coordinates are measured from, so the same corner reported a different position. • Tab packages sit the right way round. The lead pads on TO-220-style packages pointed sideways; newly placed parts now match the package. • The 78xx and 79xx regulators can be found by their order code, not only by name. • Your profile photo is visible only to you. It could be listed by anyone who knew where to look, which also revealed which account it belonged to. • The privacy policy and terms now cover public boards, the licences a board can be published under, view counting, and how a board is reported and taken down. Because these are material changes, everyone is asked to accept them once.

• Large boards no longer fly off-screen the moment you pan them. On a phone, any board wider than about 130 mm starts zoomed out — and the first drag threw it thousands of pixels away, leaving an empty grid with no obvious way back. • Panning after a pinch follows your finger. Pinch-zooming and then dragging with one finger made the board jump once and then stop responding to the drag entirely. • The board stays put while you edit its outline. Dragging a corner, or adding a point, could push the whole board out of view — worst on very small and very large boards. • Undo and redo behave while editing an outline. Adding two points and undoing twice returned the board to a rectangle but left the old editing handles on screen, and the next edit could bring the removed points back. • You can drag to move around a board someone shared with you. On a read-only board, one-finger drag and click-drag did nothing; only two-finger drag and pinch worked. • Duplicating a project now counts toward your plan's project limit, as it always should have. • Exports tell you before they replace an older one. Each board keeps a limited number of exports per format, and the oldest was quietly deleted to make room. The export dialog now says how many are kept, names the file that is about to be replaced, and lets you keep it instead. • 74 new footprints, including thermistors, the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Zero and the PIC16F676. The library now holds 1,730 parts.
