Open any PDF, click a word and press space. Words come to you one at a time, and pausing brings back the lines around them. Private and offline, made for Mac.
ReadFaster shows you one word at a time, always in the same spot, with one red letter placed where your eye naturally lands. Your eyes stay still and the words come to you, so less effort goes into steering and more goes into reading.
OPEN ANY PDF AND START ANYWHERE
Your PDF opens exactly as it is: pages, headings, figures and all. Click any word to start reading from there, or double-click to start right away. ReadFaster skips running headers, footers and page numbers, and rejoins words that were split across lines.
PAUSE, AND THE CONTEXT COMES BACK
Press space and reading stops. The line you were in appears around the current word. Press the up arrow to see more lines above and below, step back word by word, then press space to carry on.
YOUR PACE, IN YOUR HANDS
• Up and down arrows change the speed as you read, or scroll on your trackpad
• Left and right arrows jump back or forward a sentence
• Long words, numbers and the ends of sentences get a little more time, while the average stays at the speed you chose
• Reading eases in over the first few words each time you start or resume
• Pinch to make the word bigger or smaller

• The page stays softly blurred behind the words, and follows along as you read
