Easy to use, but a battery hog
Thunderforge
The app is very powerful and easy to use, but it eats up my MacBook’s battery. Activity Monitor shows that it uses about 30% more energy on average than Safari does when I am using it on average. If I forget to quit the app, my laptop loses several hours of battery life. If this were fixed, it would be 5 stars.
Easy install, but doesn’t actually work
Cmiler749
Mac works fine. Iphone works fine. Install even went well. But for an app to be successful, it has to work. I couldn’t even get the scroll functionality to work correctly; it kept thinking I was right clicking. My advice to the devs: the networking is KILLER. Having the phone and computer sync up like that just by being on the same network is awesome use of technology. However, your actual trackpad needs a lot of work. My suggestion would be to make it more like a joystick, where you use your thumb to move the mouse on a virtual mousepad, thumb double click is left click, something else is right click. So… like, halfway there? Once the bugs are fixed it will be a good app, I think.2 stars for lack of functionality.
doesnt connect and help has no suggestions
JKNABS
Used this. a few years ago, and it was slow, a little buggy to reconnect after sleep and such. It was free and it did work. Tried again and now it freezes when scanning a QR on my IOS18, it spins on the IP and then does nothing repeatedly. Bluetooth just freezes althougg I do see it attempt. Technically my iphone can't connect to this mac. I didn't use it last time either. Checked the help and they just mention "some settings" on the router could interfere. That is not a helpful statement. I can change any setting they suggest, disable services and featiures and subnets and whatever. Moving on to the next option

Mouse and keyboards I use are all bluetooth or wireless. Today all my wireless devices decided to go on strike. Rebooting computer didn’t solve the problem so I was ready to go buy some wired peripherals when by coincidence I found in my phone the Remote Mouse App. I had no problem connecting with the computer and solving the problem in 30 min or less. So don’t pay much attention to all those people the shared their bad review, install it and make your own decision.
