Requesto is a lightweight, native macOS HTTP client and REST API testing app built for developers who want a fast, focused way to create, organize, send, and debug API requests. Requesto comes with Collections, a better way to group related API endpoints by project, feature, service, environment, workflow, or backend module. Keep authentication routes, user management APIs, staging endpoints, production checks, webhook tests, and third-party REST APIs neatly organized in a clean macOS sidebar. You can drag and drop endpoints in the sidebar to manually sort your requests and keep your workspace arranged exactly the way you work. Each collection can also use its own environments and variables, making it easier to manage reusable values such as base URLs, API keys, tokens, user IDs, content types, and other request data without repeatedly copying and editing the same information. Build and test HTTP requests with configurable methods, URLs, headers, query parameters, raw request bodies, and binary file uploads. Send requests to local development servers, staging APIs, production services, mock APIs, webhook endpoints, and external REST services. Requesto displays response status codes and raw response bodies so you can quickly verify API behavior, inspect server output, debug request payloads, and validate backend integrations. Designed for macOS with a simple native interface, Requesto is ideal for REST API testing, HTTP request debugging, backend development, web development, API client workflows, and everyday developer productivity.

Requesto v1.2.0 makes it easier to organize and test APIs while building for the web. You can now group requests into Collections, keep environments tied to each collection, and reorder endpoints by drag & drop as you see fit. Environment variables now support clearer types, colors, search, duplication, and safer naming. Headers and query params are smoother too, with duplicate actions, validation, and cleaner defaults. This release also adds better request method visuals, and many UI refinements for a faster, more polished workflow.
