Your own bike on the map, in 3D, and a Dark map for night riding. Plan twisty or off-road rides across Central and Southeast Europe, Austria and southern Germany.
Ride Beyond plans motorcycle routes the way you want to ride them: fastest, twistiest, or off-road.
Turn-by-turn navigation with voice, offline routes, ride recording, Garmin import and a rider rating built from physics, not likes.
Routing covers Central and Southeast Europe today: Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia, plus Austria, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.
FOUR WAYS TO RIDE
- Car: plain sat-nav routing, on roads a car would take.
- Moto: twisty, hilly, paved backroads. A slider from Efficient to Scenic trades time for fun, and it never sends you onto gravel.
- Adventure: gravel, forest tracks and paths, from fast rally gravel to technical enduro. Dry or wet ground changes what it picks.
- Fastest: whatever gets you there soonest, tarmac or track.
PLAN AND NAVIGATE
- Search a place or long-press the map, add stops, pick a mode per leg, with motorway and singletrack switches.
- See the surface split before you commit: how much asphalt, gravel, path and unknown.
- Turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance, live speed, posted speed limit, and alerts for fixed speed cameras (camera data covers Romania today).
- Navigation and recording carry on with the screen off, and show in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen.
- A 3D map with terrain, forests and buildings, and your own bike on it, leaning with the phone's motion sensors. A Dark map for night riding. Miles or kilometres, on screen and in the voice.
- Download a route with its map corridor and navigate it in airplane mode.
- Import a GPX track: follow it as recorded, or snap it to roads for real turn guidance.
- Say how long you have and the catalogue answers with loops that fit, road or off-road.
RECORD AND UNDERSTAND YOUR RIDES
- One tap records a ride with the phone on the bar or in a pocket. Works offline, syncs later, and survives a crash or a restart.
- Connect Garmin and your rides flow in on their own.
- Every ride analysed: speed-coloured track, moving time, elevation, heart rate zones, lean angle and cornering stats, surface mix.
- A riding day reads as one story, with totals, charts and a coach that only says what the data proves.
- A rider rating anchored to grip physics and your tyres, counting each ride once wherever it came from. Car trips never count.
- Distance and skill leaderboards, challenges, badges, an exploration map and a garage for every bike you own, each in the look and colour you pick.
- Fall detection with your confirmation, so the record stays honest.
- Export any ride as GPX, TCX or FIT, or as a share card image.
RALLY ROADBOOKS
- Drive a recon and the roadbook builds itself on the phone, offline: tulips, distances, CAP headings, dangers.
- Edit every entry, export as OpenRally GPX, plain GPX, printable PDF or JSON, or ride it on the phone with a trip odometer and live CAP.
RIDE WITH FRIENDS
- A friends-only feed: share a ride with photos and a caption, like and save rides into your own library.
- See where friends are riding right now, and where they were last seen.
- Add friends by @username or QR code, or invite a rider with your own link.
- Privacy zones hide the places you choose, and can hide where your rides start and end.
- Report a post or block a rider at any time.
CONDITIONS
- Rain radar and a ground-wetness layer that estimates how muddy the trails are today, across the whole routing area.
WHAT YOU NEED
- An account (email or Apple).
- Location while the app is open. During a ride you started (a recording or navigation) it carries on in the background until the ride ends, with the iOS location indicator showing. No background tracking outside a ride.
Ride Beyond is built by a rider, for riders, and everything in it is free while the app grows.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Your own bike on the map, in 3D, leaning with the phone's motion sensors as you ride. Pick its look and colour in the Garage.
- Navigation tilts at street level and flattens when you zoom out, and the bike always sits on your GPS position.
- A Dark map for night riding and glare (Settings > Map: Standard, Dark or Auto), and an arrow on the road at the next turn.
- Invite a rider from the Feed; when they earn their First ride badge (a ride of 1 km or more), the Chinese dragon look is yours. New riders can also name your @username when they sign up.
- A Skill leaderboard, and skill on your friends' cards. The rating now counts each ride once, whether it came from Garmin, a recording or navigation, and adjusts for your tyres.
- The map opens where you left it, search estimates house numbers the map lacks, the 3D map switches to 2D on low battery, and you can send us feedback from Settings. Plus many fixes.
