RideMeter 1.0.4 brings iPhone Duo support and more reliable recording. • iPhone Duo support: unfold the display and RideMeter uses both halves, with your ride and its summary on the right and the map and statistics on the left. • Live route: on the open display, your route draws itself on the left as you go. Before you press Start, it shows where you are. • Activities and Settings use the open display too: the list on the left, the calendar or the page you picked on the right. • Kilometre splits: Statistics now shows the time, speed (pace for walks and runs) and height change of every kilometre, or every mile if you use miles. • On short screens, such as iPhone Duo when it's folded, the Record screen has a new layout, so the live speed no longer shrinks. • With heart rate showing, the weather badge no longer wraps onto two lines. • Numbers now use your region's decimal separator on every screen. • Redesigned activity summary: Done is now top left, Share and Delete top right, leaving View on map and video creation front and centre. • Cleaner routes: GPS reflections near bridges and tall buildings are removed, even when several points in a row are off. • Steadier speed after tunnels: sudden jumps are no longer accepted until GPS accuracy has recovered. • With background recording off, your activity now pauses when you leave the app and picks up again when you come back. • A quick double tap on Start no longer starts two activities. • If new GPS points can't be saved (for example, when storage is full), you now get a warning. • Saving a video to Photos no longer shows a false failure when Photos is just slow. • The estimated video length now always matches the finished video. • The profile list opens much faster, even with thousands of activities. • Accessibility: larger tap targets, better contrast and clearer VoiceOver labels. The distance on the activity overview now grows with your text size. • Missing Turkish translations added, including the heart rate sensor screen.

Your purchase status now shows at the top of Settings: full version, days left in the trial, or that the trial has ended. Tap it for details and to restore a purchase. If you already own RideMeter, the buy button is no longer shown. Video sharing is simpler: the share button sits next to Delete at the top of a ride. "Create video" is now a full-width button, and if a ride lacks enough GPS data, it explains why instead of failing. The iCloud Backup screen now loads correctly and no longer checks iCloud on every redraw.

• Activity videos now feature a new opening screen with route and activity details. • We’ve made small design improvements throughout the app for a cleaner, more polished experience.

• Add photos to your activity videos and relive each moment as your route reaches its location. • Choose or adjust where each photo appears along your route. • See photo locations, maximum speed and peak heart rate marked on the map. • Usability and performance improvements.
