RowHQ is the app for rowing club members. See what sessions are on, put your name down, and know which boat you are in before you get to the boathouse.
You need an account with a club that already uses RowHQ. If your club does not, send your captain to rowhq.app.
SEE THE SCHEDULE
Every session and club event in one calendar. Put your name down, withdraw, or tell your coach you cannot make it. Your next session sits at the top of the home screen so you do not have to go looking.
KNOW YOUR CREW
Coaches set the crews and the boats. Open a session and see who is in the boat, which seat they are in, and who is coxing.
LOG YOUR ERG SCORES
Record a piece, an interval session, or a test. RowHQ works out your splits, watts and pace. It marks a personal best when you beat one, and it can push the result straight to your Concept2 Logbook.
TALK TO YOUR SQUAD
Club channels and direct messages. Safeguarding is built into how the messaging works rather than added afterwards: club officers keep oversight of conversations involving under 18s, any member can report a message, and any member can block another.
PAY WHAT YOU OWE
Membership subs, session fees and event entries in one place. Pay by card, or read off the club's bank details. If your club charges per outing you can top up a balance and let it come out of that.
BOOK A BOAT
Where a club allows it, reserve a single or take a club boat out. See what is already booked before you turn up and find the rack empty.
REPORT DAMAGE
Photograph a bent rigger or a hole in a hull and log it against that boat. Whoever looks after the fleet gets the report with the picture attached.
CHECK THE WATER
Live weather on your home screen. On UK rivers with an Environment Agency gauge, the current river level too, so you know before you leave the house.
ROW ROUND THE WORLD
Your club's erg metres move a boat along a real route across a 3D globe. Cross the Channel as a club, or take on something longer.
BUILT FOR THE PHONE
Sign in with your Apple Account or a password. Lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID on your own phone. Take photos with the camera. Add a session to your own calendar. Share a session or the club's joining link. Get a notification when a coach cancels an outing or the club posts news.
FOR CAPTAINS, COACHES AND TREASURERS
The same app runs the club. Set up sessions that repeat every week, build crews, keep the fleet records, chase unpaid subs, and message members. Owners decide who can do what.
ABOUT SUBSCRIPTIONS
Clubs pay RowHQ, members never do. Clubs up to 20 members are free. Nothing is sold inside this app.
