Keep your private bits off the internet.

Use this app to share photos and videos that you don’t want to risk appearing on the internet, and to prevent them from being stolen by thieves or snoops.

++ Content shared through the app is encrypted with two keys stored on separate devices.
++ Mutual consent on both devices is necessary in order to access the content.
++ Either device can delete the content on both devices at any time.
++ We cannot view your photos or videos since they are transmitted with end-to-end encryption.
++ We do not track you, nor do we collect any unnecessary personal information.

Safely Private

If you want to record cool stuff but don’t want to risk it appearing on the internet, this is the app. Encrypted, multi-stage protection for both persons including access grants and the like. I haven’t experienced anything like this. There is a small learning curve but nothing that can’t be figured out. Would highly recommend.

Great app

I beta tested this app and it is great. It's very safe and my videos are secure.

Not feasible or user friendly

Syncing takes forever. When is a video sharing app feasible when you are taking a video but the other phone has to be near you? Not worth the trouble, there are better encryption options out there.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the feedback GermanChoco, there are definitely certain conditions under which the syncing can be slow or spotty - it's something we've looked a lot into but unfortunately a lot of this depends on your local WiFi infrastructure. One tip is to disconnect both phones from the WiFi network in order to force it to use an ad-hoc network which can be faster.

Sorry to hear it hasn't worked out or you, Rumuki is intended to solve a distinct problem whereby a physical-proximity key exchange / transfer guarantees that there aren't any eavesdroppers. It's really more of a two-factor video rights management mechanism rather than a 'sharing app' at this point.

If you would like to give it another try, I'd be more than happy to help you troubleshoot any connectivity issues or questions you might have:
