ScrambleSafely accesses a cloud database of mountain travel safety questions and comments in 6 modules; Gear, Fauna & Weather, Approach Trails, Snow Slopes, Steep Rock and Mountain Ridges. It is intended for Canadian Rockies area scrambling. The Gear module covers such items as backpacks, poles, GPS devices, sunscreen, etc.
The Fauna & Weather module covers such items as bears, elk, thunderstorms, insects, etc.
The Approach Trails module covers streams, ice, gullies, bear habitat, etc.
The Snow Slopes module covers glissading, boot step-kicking, avalanches, meltwater, etc.
The Steep Rock module covers chimneys, gullies, slab, exposure, etc.
The Mountain Ridge module covers cornices, exposure, lightning, etc.
