Not what it’s cracked up to be

I purchased the seashell identifier and took pictures of shells I had identified. The first shell I tried was one from the bonnet family and the app incorrectly identified the shell all five tries. I didn’t try a Triton shell and it told me it was a Florida fighting conch. I changed the angle of the shell and took a different picture and then told me it was a Triton trumpet Instead of the angular triton that it was. Hoping to get my money back.

I’m working on improving the AI so it can better distinguish between these tricky cases.If you’re willing, it would help a lot if you could share a few example photos through the Feedback option in the app’s settings or by emailing them to horbohapps@gmail.com. Real photos like yours are the best way for me to track down where the model struggles and make it more accurate.Thank you for your feedback — it’s very valuable for making the app better.
