SeamDiff is a fast, focused file and folder diff viewer for macOS — built for developers who need to compare and merge files without the overhead of a full IDE.
* Compare files side by side
Open any two files and see exactly what changed. Syntax highlighting, smooth scrolling, and a clean dark interface keep you focused on the differences.
* Visual diff gutter
Changed sections are connected by smooth trapezoid bridges in a dedicated center gutter — the way professional diff tools like JetBrains and DiffMerge do it. Added, removed, and modified blocks are color-coded and instantly readable. Line numbers sit right next to the content they belong to.
* One-click merge
Hover over any diff block and click the arrow to push changes left or right. Merge individual hunks in any order, undo any merge, and save the result directly to disk — without leaving the app.
* Folder diff
Compare entire directories recursively. Filter by modified, added, or removed files and drill into any file with a click.
* Drag and drop
Drop files or folders directly onto either pane to load them instantly.
* Change map
The scrollbar track shows a full-file overview of all changes so you always know where you are in a large diff.

* Merge editing
You can now merge changes directly inside SeamDiff. Hover over any diff block in the gutter and click ← or → to push that change to the other side. Undo individual merges with a single click, or save the result straight to disk when you're happy.
* Redesigned diff gutter
The center gutter has been rebuilt from scratch. Changed blocks are now connected by smooth visual bridges that clearly show what was added, removed, or modified — and where each change maps to on the other side. Line numbers moved into the gutter so they face the content they belong to.
* Synchronized scrolling
Both panes now scroll together in all directions — vertical and horizontal — so you never lose your place when navigating wide files.
* Change map in scrollbar
Added and removed sections are now marked directly in the scrollbar track, giving you a bird's-eye view of the entire diff at a glance.
* Polish
Slightly reduced window corner radius, refined marker opacity, and various small visual fixes.
