SetSplitter turns one long recording into a folder of individual, neatly formatted tracks with titles, artists and artwork. If you collect live sets, festival recordings or DJ mixes, it's the best way to get them into your music library as a proper album. HOW IT WORKS 1. Drag in your recording. MP3, M4A and WAV files are supported. 2. Paste in a setlist. SetSplitter finds the timestamps and splits each line into artist and title, whichever way round you write them. 3. Make cover art in the app, or drop in your own image. 4. Export. You get a folder of individual tracks, tagged and ready to import into your music app of choice. BUILT FOR REAL-WORLD SETLISTS • Reads timestamps in common formats • Recognizes common separators between artist and title (hyphen, dashes, colon, slash), or set your own • Handles mashups and mixes by merging the artists and titles, or keeping only the first track • Decide what happens to any audio before the first timestamp • Edit titles and artists before you export TRACKS THAT SOUND RIGHT • Exports AAC (256 kbps) .m4a files designed to play gaplessly, so a continuous mix doesn't stutter between tracks • Album, artist, genre, track numbers and artwork are embedded in every file • Your original recording is never modified PRIVATE BY DESIGN SetSplitter works entirely on your Mac. It has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and it never connects to the internet. Your recordings, setlists and artwork stay on your device.
