Shooglebox is a research and content curation tool for quickly gathering all sorts of information for future use, exploration or sharing with others.

It helps you squirrel away all the interesting, useful and intriguing stuff you come across from multiple platforms and review it all as editable cards laid out in simple visual grids.

The latest version of the Shooglebox app makes it even easier to quickly save content from all the other apps you use on your iPhone or iPad – Photos, Safari, Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Kindle, audio recorders and more.

You can use the app on your iPhone or iPad to review and edit the at-a-glance fronts and more detailed backs of cards – or you can switch to a larger-screen device to explore your boxes of cards and see the bigger picture.

Shooglebox is the perfect tool for:

Gathering and building on research material fast – whether you need to quickly get your head round a topic or you’re spreading your net far and wide as part of an in-depth ongoing project.

Saving weblinks and social posts for future use – replacing bookmarks and multiple browser tabs with a more visual and inspiring place to come back to.

Curating content to inform and inspire others – you can share a box of cards or use Shooglebox to assemble material for other outputs … presentations, moodboards, newsletters.

Planning writing projects – gathering research, saving direct links to references, capturing inspiration: whether you’re writing a book, a blog, an article, or an essay – making it easy to organise and keep track of your thoughts.

Working together as a team – gathering, exploring and building on information in a way that harnesses your collective curiosity and experience and leads to better ideas and decisions.

Squirrelling away inspiration and memories – a place to safely store away those things you know you’ll want to come back to one day.

Excellent new collection app, Shooglebox!

First reviewer? Contacted developers, who notified me individual accounts are free; teams need to pay. I signed up and have just started using it. Sort of like Pinterest, but more personalized and without the obnoxious ads! UI is a learning period; however, app is very helpful in getting me set up to use it. It’s based on drag-and-drop which is simple on an iPad Pro in split-screen mode. Looking forward to using Shooglebox a lot in the future to get my screenshots, webpages, and other ideas organized. Try it, you’ll like it!

My Evernote Gets a Buddy

I’ve been using Shooglebox for a few days. In the past few years, my go-to app for saving bits of information was Evernote. I’m now categorizing my notes as critical/long term (documents I need, quotes for future writing, etc.) and current (flowers I might want to plant, stocks to watch, recipes to try). I use Evernote for the former category and Shooglebox for the latter. This strategy is working for me. I definitely recommend trying this app.

Replaced Evernote and Storyboarding apps

I have moved my writing planning, research Dropbox, home improvement instructions, recipes, and Evernote content to Shooglebox. This app has become essential for my work and play. Absolutely brilliant.
